angered man when it comes to her . I wanted to hate her, but foreign emotions replaced all negative feelings that I wanted to have for her. I’ve just never been so out of control in my entire life.
“That’s exactly what I told him. He told this motherfucker that he could do a little test run tonight…” began Nicolai.
“You stupid fuck, I swear on our grandfather’s grave that I will strangle you myself if you don’t tell that fucker to remove his product and the people he sold it to from my fucking property. Right—fucking—now,” I screamed, as I pounded my fist on my desk.
“Andriano, please,” Vincenzo began as he folded his hands into prayer form. “Please try to be reasonable. This is guaranteed to bring us at least $100,000 a week,” he pleaded.
“A 100 G’s only? We make over that amount in just two days. Most of that money would be used to pay off the fucking cops for fucking insurance. What profit would we really make? Huh? Think about it. The only person who turns a profit over our fucking head will be the dealer. You interrupt my fucking night over a schmuck?” I shouted as I pointed my index finger at Vincenzo.
“Vin, use your fucking brain. You want more responsibilities to run businesses, but you’re willing to take on a shitload of unnecessary baggage just for a fucking measly one-hundred G’s. Handle this shit tonight,” said Nicolai sternly to his younger brother, before turning and walking towards the door.
“Before you leave, Nicolai, remember that we have a meeting tomorrow,” I said. I withdrew from my desk drawer two pieces of paper with the address and time written down. I handed each man a paper. Both of them looked down and confirmed their attendance before Nicolai left the office.
Turning to face me, Vincenzo solemnly said, “I’m sorry Andriano. I really am. I tried to take some initiative to bring more profitable business ventures in…but…I didn’t think it through on this situation.”
“Fix it. Get the dealer and the people he sold it to out of my lounge right now,” I said calmly. Nodding his head to indicate compliance, Vincenzo quietly left the office.
Staring at the closed door, I replayed in my head everything that had taken place tonight. I didn’t get a chance to release my pent up frustration into the one woman who caused me much dismay. Slamming my fist onto the table, I knocked the rest of the papers onto the floor and screamed out my agony. I was about to throw my cell phone across the room when it started vibrating. Looking down, I saw a lengthy text message from the woman who tormented my mind, body, and soul.
Simone : I can’t do this with you. For almost two weeks, you called consistently up until two days ago. I don’t expect much of an explanation from you, especially since we are not in a relationship. But, I can’t keep allowing you to fuck me whenever you want to. This is the second time that we were intimate without protection. I don’t know what you have, and I sure as hell don’t want to be pregnant. Tomorrow, I’m going to the bank to take out the money that you deposited. After I give it back to you, I will really appreciate it if we go our separate ways and pretend that none of this happened. Goodnight.
Andriano : Goodnight, bella mia.
Chapter Thirteen
Simone
“I ’m sorry miss, but you cannot withdraw the full amount from either account. The policy at this branch only allows the maximum of $25,000 to be withdrawn from all domestic accounts,” said the kind, pretty female bank teller.
“If this is my money, why can’t I withdraw the full amount?” I asked, feeling a sense of imperativeness brewing within.
“Unfortunately, this is the bank’s policy,” said the bank teller apologetically.
Placing two fingers to my temple to soothe the throbbing headache, I briefly closed my eyes. Opening my eyes again, I stared at the bank teller who appeared uneasy. “Can you deposit the amount
