said coolly. "But I'm afraid Hannah won't be able to do any more baby-sitting. She's going to be busy for the remainder of her trip."
Ralph Tyler nodded quickly. "Sure, I understand. We really appreciate all you've done for us, Hannah."
Annie Tyler didn't look quite so enthusiastic over the prospect of losing the free baby-sitter, but she had the grace to smile and nod agreeably. "You've been great with Danny. He'll miss you."
    "Oh, he's welcome to—"
"No, I'm afraid he's not welcome. Not in the evenings," Jarrett cut in smoothly. "The hotel offers a babysitting service, though. Perhaps you'd like to look into that."
Annie flushed. "Of course. It's just that Danny doesn't like strangers, and…"
"Come on, Annie, it's late." Ralph Tyler nodded down the hall in the direction of their hotel room. "Good night, Hannah, and thanks again. We'll see you in the morning."
"Good night," Hannah said with a touch of desperation as Jarrett firmly closed the door. Then she took refuge in her temper. "Honestly, Jarrett, you had no right to be so rude to the Tylers! I was perfectly happy looking after Danny. It's not as if they asked me to baby-sit him every night or anything, and I…"
"Honey, they were using you. They should never have asked you to baby-sit in the first place. You're on vacation too! And hotels the size of this one always have babysitting services available."
"You don't know what you're talking about!" she fumed.
Jarrett reached out and caught her defiant chin in his hand. "Hannah, let's get something straight," he said a little roughly. "If anyone's going to take advantage of you, it's going to be me!"
His mouth came down on hers with such dominating intensity that she stumbled against him. An instant later she was locked in his arms.

Chapter Four
It was like being caught up in a whirlwind. Hannah wanted to free herself and couldn't think of any way to do it. She couldn't really think at all, not with Jarrett's mouth controlling hers with a sensual command unlike anything she had ever experienced. Hannah found herself clinging when she knew she should have been pushing herself away from the intense demand of his body.
"Hannah, honey," Jarrett muttered against her lips, "I'm going to take you tonight. I'm going to lay you down and find out just how soft and warm you really are. Don't fight me, sweet Hannah, just give yourself to me and I'll take care of you. I'll make you happy tonight, I swear it."
His words continued to pour over her like warm honey, sweet and tantalizing and full of masculine promise. Hannah shivered beneath them, fiercely aware of a wild new recklessness moving within her.
On one level she was frightened of this man, but on another she was inexplicably drawn to him. From the first moment that she had allowed herself to fantasize about him aboard the plane, she had been aware of him in a way that was entirely new to her.
Now he had declared that he wanted her. The wild fantasy in which she had indulged had come true. The attraction was there, waiting to be acted upon. All she had to do was surrender__
But surrender was a dangerous thing to give Jarrett Blade. It was exactly what he wanted, but what would he do with it when he had it? How would he use it against her? It was too risky by far to even contemplate giving herself to this man. He was quite capable of taking the gift, but what would he do with it ?
"Leave everything to me, Hannah. I want to learn all there is to know about your softness. I'll take care of everything."
Then his mouth closed on hers again, his tongue pushing warmly between the barrier of her teeth as he began to explore the prize he intended to take completely.
It was her chance, Hannah told herself, her one chance in a lifetime to learn the nature of passion and sensual excitement. Once before she had given herself in lovemak-ing to a man who had no respect for her or desire for love. The experience had been a disaster, leaving her crushed and unfulfilled and
