from his end of the phone, she knew she
must have hit a nerve.
    “Well I can tell you
that we won’t be wearing a thing when we get together. God, I can’t wait to get
you with me on Saturday Regina.”
    “I know we’ll have a
lot of fun sweetheart and as nervous as I am about all of this, I am just as
excited about it too. I never would’ve thought a wonderful man such as you would
show me such caring and kindness. I want to thank you for all that you’ve done
for me so far Collin.” Tears started to roll down her cheeks and as she wiped
them away even more started to flow. “I think I better go Collin.” And with
that she hung up the phone.

    Chapter Five

    When Collin pulled up
to Regina’s apartment that Saturday afternoon, he brought with him a bouquet of
wild flowers to lighten the mood so that she wouldn’t be nervous. Just to see a
smile on her lovely face would be good enough to start their weekend together.
He only hoped she would enjoy it as much as he did. Once he got to the door, he
took a deep breath before knocking on her door.
    Soon the door opened and
a smile seemed to automatically spread across his face when he saw her standing
in front of him with a smile too.
    “Why hello there
beautiful, are you ready for me?” he asked as he strolled inside and quickly
gave her a kiss on the lips.
    “I’ve been ready.” Her
voice cracked and Collin tried his best not to laugh as he handed her the
flowers before he got her bags. “Thank You. Let me put these in some water and
we’ll go.” She set the bouquet in a vase on an end table, then followed behind
him and locked the door as he went to the car to put her bags in. “So where are
we off to first?” Regina asked as he opened up the door for her.
    Kissing her on her
forehead, Collin smiled and simply told her, “To my place.”
    Collin wanted to get
them as far away from the city as possible and decided to take her to his other
home, a place he would come to during the weekend to get some peace and quiet.
He hadn’t been there in months and felt sorry for the hired housekeeper cleaning
things up, remembering how dusty the place could get. The ride was long for
them but they enjoyed it while talking and listening to the radio. Soon they pulled
up to a gate and as he pressed a button on his sun visor, it slowly opened up. He
saw the cute bungalow he purchased some years back and remembered his mother
telling him how it looked like it came out of one of those home magazines.
    “Is this your place?”
Regina asked when they stopped.
    “Yeah, this is actually
my weekend place to get away from the city.” Collin smiled as he leaned over
and gave her a kiss. He savored the taste of her lips, cupping her cheek in his
hand while he heard her moan from his touch. “Let’s get inside and get settled
in before tonight.”
    After getting their
bags, Collin and Regina went to the door, unlocked it and walked inside. He was
glad to see that the house was exactly like he had wanted, clean with a bucket
of champagne and two glasses set on the table. Collin walked around her with a
smile, grabbed the bottle and started to undo the silver paper as well as the
wiring around the cork. When he got to the cork, he went to the door, opened it
and pointed the bottle outside. Regina jumped at the popping of the bottle.
Pouring the golden liquid, he handed Regina hers while he poured himself one.
Putting the bottle down, he wrapped his arm around her waist as he drew her
close to him. “To us baby and making all of your dreams come true this weekend
as well as having fun.” Collin smiled as they clinked glasses and took a sip.
    He could look into
those beautiful eyes of hers forever, he thought as he took her hand. “Are you
hungry?”
    “I’m just a little bit
hungry.”
    Walking over to the
living room area, a small tray of cheese, fruit, and crackers were found on the
coffee table. Grabbing a remote from the table, Collin pushed a button
