think I’ll enjoy it there.”
“I’m glad you got sorted with a job. That’s great news.” Shane was genuinely pleased. He imagined not having a job would be very high on this man’s list of “things that made him nervous” in not having the control he so obviously needed in his life.
Shane’s hand stilled its journey up Matthew’s thigh, and the other man breathed a sigh of relief as Shane turned to look out of the window. “This is our stop.”
The taxi pulled over to the kerb, and Shane leaned in and paid him. The two men got out of the taxi, which sped down the quiet, residential street. Shane gestured at his apartment building, a large, dark brick structure on a tree-lined street in St. James’s, an affluent area of the city. The river ran in front of the building, and the whole ambience was one of wealth and opulence.
“Welcome to Shane’s World. Come on. Let’s get upstairs. I’m so horny I should be two rhinos.” They walked through the glass doors into the spacious, plant-filled lobby.
Matthew spluttered with laughter at the other man’s words. “Now that’s one I haven’t heard before.”
Shane glanced at him. “Oh, I’m sure there’s a lot more you haven’t heard before that you’ll hear tonight, including my screams of delight.” He grinned as Matthew followed him over to the lift. He’d seen the man swallow and clench his hands.
“Does this lift have cameras in it?” the other man murmured.
Shane nodded. “Sorry, yes, they do. So no hanky-panky in there if that’s what you were thinking of doing.”
Matthew murmured a reply. “Pity. I like mirrors. There’s something about watching someone’s face in them when they’re up close and personal that’s such a turn on.”
Now it was Shane’s turn to swallow. The lift opened and the two men stepped in. The doors closed and both men heaved a deep breath. Their eyes met, gunmetal grey and sapphire blue. But they stayed where they were, knowing if they got to close to each other it would be all over. The lift seemed to take an interminable time to reach the fifth floor. Finally the doors opened and they stepped out. Shane led the way down the dimly lit corridor, to a door at the far end of the hallway. He reached into his trouser pocket, removing a set of keys. He unlocked the door. He’d only just walked in and was about to switch on the light for the entrance when he heard a low growl behind him. He felt himself being smacked against the wall, his face flat against the cool surface.
“You are the biggest bloody tease I’ve ever met.” Matthew’s voice was deep, husky. Shane was pulled around to face the other man. “You have driven me fucking crazy all the way here.”
“Jesus, Matthew, language!” Shane gasped with a laugh, even as his shirt was pulled out of his jeans and the other man’s hands started unbuttoning it.
“We’re in private, no one to hear, so bad language is fine. Especially with a bad boy like you.”
Shane could hardly believe this was the same man he’d just sat next to in the taxi. He was just aching with the need to have him. He toed his shoes off urgently as Matthew finished his unbuttoning and slid his shirt off his shoulders onto the floor. Matthew’s hands were on his jeans zipper, slowly easing it down. Shane’s hips pushed forwards in reflex, his dick straining with a need to be free. His own fingers stroked down Matthew’s arms, feeling the strong muscle play beneath his fingers, the silk of his shirt a complete aphrodisiac like the man himself.
Matthew slid his hands into Shane’s waistband and pushed his trousers down his legs. He crouched, sliding them down to his ankles. Shane felt his warm breath on his erection as he stood up. Matthew beckoned with an imperious gesture for Shane to step out of them. Shane wasn’t sure when the tables had been turned and he’d gone from aggressor to subordinate, but he wasn’t going to argue. He stepped out of his trousers and
