his rough hands grabbing Seth’s flesh
as if there were handles to hold on to during the ride. Because Dom was riding
Seth with as much pleasure as a kid on a roller coaster.
    And then a car drove
into the beach.
    Seth’s eyes flew open,
and he stuffed his painfully erect dick back into his pants, as the sound of
the car approaching on the dirt road got louder. The sprint to the cabin only
took a few seconds, and he entered through the back door, only to face the
barrel of a Beretta.
    Domenico exhaled, his
jaw muscles flexing. “Who is it?” he asked coolly.
    “I don’t know.” Seth
rushed to get their suitcase and a gun. He hoped to work it out somehow with
the owner, but one couldn’t be too careful.
    “Let’s just get rid of
them now,” Dom said, walking over to the back exit with his hand squeezed on
the gun.
    Seth did a double take.
“No. Jesus Christ. Let’s try to contain this,” he said as they heard a key
moving in the lock. “Act natural. Sort off.”
    Domenico exhaled, though
Seth could see the tension in his body even as he hid the gun in the hoodie he
put over the shirt. They stared at the door as if there were a squadron of
special force police waiting on the other side, ready to gut them with bullets.
    But when the door
opened, it was just an old man, who stared at them with his eyes so wide Seth
feared they’d have to get him to the ER soon.
    Seth raised his hands
and gave the guy his best smile. At least his boner was faltering. “No need to
be alarmed. We’re so sorry, please don’t call the cops,” he quickly said.
“We’re not some creeps.” Obvious lie.
    The man looked back,
presumably assessing whether he could beat them to his car, but then cleared
his throat, still remaining on the porch, as if crossing the threshold equaled
jumping off a cliff. But they wouldn’t do anything to him. With the man’s white
beard it would feel like choking the life out of Santa.
    “W-- what are you doing
here?”
“My bike ran out of gas,
sir. It was such a series of unfortunate events for me and my brother,” Seth
pointed to Dom and put his hands down. “We thought we’d leave in a few days and
cause no one worries.”
    Domenico’s voice had a
slightly shrill tone to it as he spoke, with his hands submissively clasped in
front of his stomach. “We are so sorry. I got into this accident, and couldn’t
go back to work for a long time. Then there were the medical bills, and we
couldn’t afford the rent. We stopped in the middle of nowhere, and this place seemed
like a good place not to freeze. We’re so, so sorry,” Dom choked out.
    Seth didn’t show his
surprise but he was impressed by the acting skills. Every day he saw another
glimpse of the old Dom in the man who didn’t know him.
    The old man watched them
with a tense frown. “What’s your names, boys?” he said and took another few
steps closer, finally walking into the house.
    Domenico exhaled.
“Gian.”
    “Bastian.” Seth held out
his hand to the man and gave Dom the side-eye. ‘Gian’? That was a seriously hot
name, or Seth was just going crazy.
    Domenico greeted the old
man, too, his head hung in a display of shame. It seemed to work on their
unwilling host, who shook his head. “I’m Donald. I gotta say this is the last
thing I expected. Did you eat all my food?”
    “Some of it,” Seth
admitted with an apologetic smile. “I’m so sorry. It was so cold outside. I can
make you a fantastic pasta though.” He racked his brain for something they
could do for the guy, as they couldn’t show that they actually had money.
    Donald frowned, staring
at the bed in his living room. “That would be nice. It’s freezing out there.”
    “Bastian’s a cook. He
makes amazing food,” Domenico said, walking over to the bed. “And we will take
the bed back where it belongs, don’t worry.”
    “I’ve been looking for a
job for months, but you know how it is in this economy,” Seth said and went
over to the kitchenette
