    “Reid…” He tamped down the flutter of happiness in his chest at Reid’s suggestion. “This is moving really fast. Don’t you think we should take a step back and make sure we aren’t getting carried away?” Carter asked.
    He knew he was getting carried away. Carter knew that once Reid decided he had enough or moved on to someone else, it was going to destroy him.
