hands up behind his neck through his hair and
pulling his lips back to meet mine. I lost myself in his kiss and crawled up
his body. Before I knew it he was lifting me up. I wrapped my legs around his
waist tightly and he gripped my upper thighs were they meet my hips and held me
tightly against him. I heard a lot of whistling and hooting from his friends
but I wasn’t going to stop quite yet. He tasted so good lightly minty and
sweet. Here we stood at the water’s edge as he held me tight to his body and
continue to kiss me. When I pulled away a few minutes later he lightly bit my
lip. “Is that a yes? Will you let me show you I can be a good guy? I want to be
with you Zoey . I can’t get you out of my head Baby
and I don’t want to.” He let me slide back down his body allowing his hands to
rest on my hips just and the top of my swimsuit. “Don’t hurt me Luke…Please” I
whispered up at him with my eyes closed. He kissed me again a light sweet kiss.
He took my hand and led me back to where our things were. He set down and
pulled me onto his lap. He nuzzled my neck and bit my earlobe lightly. Sophia
was watching and sat down next to us after a little bit. “Okay Luke I just got
to say, you know that every girl is going on and on about how you are playing Zoey and all the guys are saying you are totally whipped
right?” He kissed that spot right behind my ear and then looked up at Sophia
“They can talk all they want Soph. There is no way I am playing Zoey and maybe I am whipped. I just convinced your
beautiful friend here to give me a shot. I have no intentions what so ever of
screwing this up.”
    It was turning out to be a pretty
good day. The sun was starting to set and the guys wanted to go back to Luke’s
and go swimming in the heated pool. The entire afternoon he had been so sweet
with me. Saying cute little things to me and stealing kisses whenever he got
the chance. He really didn’t seem to mind the comments his friends continued to
make with the exception of Evan and Blake. He lied down on a towel next to me
while I sunbathed and traced little circles over my skin causing me to giggle
through the tickling sensations. At one point he leaned forward and whispered
in my ear while I was lying on my stomach. “You’re so beautiful Zoe,” then
placed a kiss on my temple before running off to play a game of volleyball. I flipped
over and sat up so I could watch him. I snapped a few photos of my dreamy
shirtless eye candy. He was making me feel like a giddy little high school girl
drooling over a guy. I had committed to trying to make us work…me and Luke wow
could it work? I mean he really has not had a very good track record. Could I
trust him? The thought of the whole thing made my stomach hurt. I tried to push
it all away, completely out of my mind and just watch him. He turned to wink at
me a few times which other girls picked up on and I earned a few glares. I noticed
how the girls at the beach would flaunt themselves in front of him trying to
get his attention. Luke just appeared un-phased and that was just earning him
bonus points.
    We were loading our things into
the car to leave and my phone went off the same time as Luke’s when we looked
it was from Sophia. She had forwarded a picture she had taken of Luke and me.
It was a side view of him looking at me right before he was about to kiss me
and his hand was in my hair. It was a really great pictured that made me smile.
When we got in the car I saw he was messing in his phone and I looked over at
him seeing that he was saving our photo to his main screen shot. I felt my
stomach flutter once again from his sweet gesture. He turned his head to me
