it was filled up like a movie theater. Mr. Arindham Chaudhary gave a very motivational speech along with his wife Mrs. Rajita Chaudhary and then they announced the date of our first class at IIPM.
    30th August, 2011
It was the first day of my college. I boarded the bus organized by IIPM from Netaji Subhash Palace. I thought I would be the only one to board the bus from NSP but I wasn’t. Soon a girl entered the bus, wearing a black top, blue denim and a purple jacket having a black purse in her hand. She was slim and beautiful, she came and sat behind me and said bye to her daddy who was sitting in a black BMW. Then entered another girl, a bit healthy not to be confused with fat, she had messy hair which was curly from the top and straight at the bottom, a square face with red lipstick. She was wearing a red top and black jeans, carrying a pink colored bag in her hand. She was wearing a pair of high heeled sandals as she was only 5feet tall. She sat on the right side seat to me and said bye to her daddy who has come to drop her. The journey to college was one and half hour from there and all of us were strangers so we kept quiet during the whole journey. We reached the college at 8:15am and the class was about to start at 8:30am, I searched the classroom and made myself comfortable in the front seat as all of the backseats were occupied till I reached the class. When I glanced at all the faces in the class I came to know that the two girls who came in the same bus with me were my classmates. The ‘Girl with the BMW Daddy’ (as I had referred to her) was Sahiba Wadhwa and the ‘Girl wearing High Heels’ was Simran Chawla. The classroom was completely filled up, and everyone was busy introducing themselves to each other. A guy sitting on my right introduced himself to me, “Hi! My Name is Iman Roy.” He was a Bengali and his accent revealed this. I then introduced myself, “Hi! I am Chandra Kant,”
I was surprised to see that on the first day everyone was speaking in very good English and I have never been so fluent but somehow I managed to communicate with everyone. Soon the Professor of Accounts Mr. Alok Khanna entered the class; he was 6 feet tall wearing a white shirt and black suit with a blue color tie having white dots on it. He said that he was not going to teach us and would keep it as an introduction class. Everybody then introduced themselves to the professor and I learnt that I had classmates from almost all the states of the country, with different religions and different graduate degrees. Well it was my turn now and I was quite nervous I stood up and introduced myself “Hello! I am Chandra Kant, I have completed my B.Com from SOL and I am from Delhi,” I have been here for 3 years now, after all.
The next class was on Executive Communication, the professor was Gita Negi. When she entered the class everybody thought that she must be a newly recruited teacher as she looked too young and beautiful. What I thought was that she would not be able to handle the class. But when she started speaking everybody was quiet and paying attention to her. A lady who was5 feet in height in cream colored formals with her hair tied back, and clearly had a passion towards her work which made her more confident. After an introduction with all the students she started an activity where we have to do mimicry of any celebrity. I was very much nervous because it takes guts to do mimicry in front of 150 students and having 300 eye balls looking at you. I was busy thinking about which actor I could copy and I was not paying much attention to the class but when a guy who looked like Amir Khan came to the podium, I paid attention. Ma’am asked him to mimic any actor or celebrity he came out with the Amir Khan in him and did a fantastic mimicry of Amir Khan. This person was Nitesh Anand who was an SOL student like me and had never been to college before, looking at his guts and talent I became confident that if he could do it, I
