things about it that he was not comfortable with.
‘That’s great, Chan. So, when is the grand opening?”
“Um, hopefully in the next month, just waiting on the shop fittings to be done, then I can start moving all the products in.”
Their waitress returned with their drinks, setting them down in front of them. “Are you ready to order?”
Joey glanced at her and nodded. Chantal picked up her menu, and quickly scanned over it, until she had decided on what she wanted. “I’ll have the lamb medallion on golden fried gnocchi, tomato coulis, mint yoghurt, with a fresh green salad on the side.” Placing her menu in the hand of the waitress, she turned and faced Joey.
“I will have the twice cooked pork belly with crispy crackling, caramelized onions, beer battered chips and a garden salad. Thank you.”
Nodding she left them alone, again. There weren’t that many people around the restaurant. It was cozy, and very romantic. Glancing back at him, she wanted to know if he was dating anyone. “Are you seeing anyone?” she blurted out, then looked to her lap to hide her blush. God she was embarrassed. Why was it so hard to ask that question? I'm nervous, that's all . She jumped when Joey burst out laughing.
“Getting straight to the point, I see.”
“Sorry, it was just a question. Didn’t mean it to come out like that.” Why the hell was she nervous, this was Joey?
“No, I’m not seeing anyone, but I do have my eye on someone,” he answered with a grin.
“Oh.” Well, there goes that plan.
When the waitress returned with their meals, she nearly drooled when hers was placed in front of her; the smell was divine. Picking up her knife and fork, she cut a slice of the lamb and scooped up some of the tomato coulis, and slid it into her mouth. She moaned as the food hit her taste buds.  Joey cleared his throat and her eyes shot open, and she looked straight at him. He was smirking at her.
“Everything alright over there,” he asked with a raised eyebrow.
She only nodded, as she could not think of a single word to say to him.
Twenty minutes later, they were finished with the main meal and ordering desert to go. “I’ll take two of the tuxedo chocolate mud cake with white chocolate center and Chantilly cream.”
Her mouth watered at the sound of it. It sounded so sinful. When their waitress returned with their desert, Joey paid as they made their way out of the restaurant. Wrapping her arms around herself, she realised she should have brought a jacket.
    “Are you cold?” he asked.
Nodding, she watched as he removed his jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders. He was standing so close to her that she could smell his cologne. Breathing in his scent, she savored it swaying a little. Joey pulled her closer to him. “Chantal?” he urged. She was going for it. Leaning forward, she lightly placed her mouth against his and nibbled on his bottom lip. Joey groaned. Chantal wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him as close as he could get to her. His hands moved slowly down from her shoulders, rubbing lightly down her back, giving her goose bumps. When his hands were on her ass, he moved her hips in line with his and she felt his hardness behind his pants. Moaning at the contact, she slightly pushed her tongue into his mouth, happy when he returned the gesture. Her hand slid down his well-muscled chest, clenching his shirt in her fist. Her other hand moved lower, over his abs, and she felt him shiver at the contact. When her hand was close to the top of his pants, he grabbed it. He pulled away, breathing heavy, as was she. “We need to get out of here, Chan.”
Not giving her a chance to answer, he dragged her towards his truck and helped her inside. She watched as he did jumped in his side. She could see the evidence of what she had felt earlier. Obviously, he wasn’t embarrassed if anyone saw him with an erection. Re-arranging him in front of her, he started the truck and they drove in
