Deacon that she didn’t expect any further sexual contact. But it could wait until morning. For now, she snuggled up against him. His strong arms wrapped firmly around her as they settled together.
They dozed off, wrapped around each other, until his phone alarm went off at four-thirty in the morning.
He slid his warm body from hers, grabbed his phone, and started texting. A minute later she heard his low voice in her bathroom talking on the phone.
She dozed off again all alone in bed, but woke when he kissed her good-bye.
“Will you blush the next time we see each other, Miss Troy?” he asked with a grin. The way he said her name made her warm and tingly all over.
    “Perhaps. Will you?”
“Most assuredly. But I’ll try not to embarrass myself.”
She walked him to the door and handed him a plate holding several homemade cookies covered with clear plastic when he mentioned Boyd’s request.
“Do I get one?” he asked.
She shrugged. “I guess that’s up to Boyd.”
He glanced down at the cookies and then speared a look at her face as if he tried to get through to her soul. “I’ll persuade him to share with me.”
Jessica knew she wouldn’t sleep if she went back to bed, so she made herself some coffee, ate one of the remaining cookies from the batch she’d made yesterday, and reminisced over how different she felt not being a virgin.
She was different. The previous evening had boosted her self-confidence. And she hadn’t exactly been lacking before.
Two hours later she was at her desk in the hotel with a ready smile on her face and the sincere feeling that she could conquer anything the world at large had to throw her direction. She thought back to the letter she’d received and couldn’t contain her jubilation. Best of all, when she attended her ten year high school class reunion in two months, she wouldn’t secretly be self-conscious over her virginal status. She was a woman.
When Boyd showed up midmorning, she was unprepared for how devastating her attraction was to him still.
“Mr. Caldwell,” she said with surprise. “What are you doing here?”
“I’m hoping you can help me out with a room. I have friends coming into town from the northern part of the state. The vacation rental house they secured months ago isn’t ready due to some last minute electrical malfunction. And the Air Force Academy graduation is in three days. Colorado Springs is booked solid. I’m hoping you have a room, any room, tucked away for emergencies.”
“Ah yes. We are very full, but not quite at capacity, I don’t think.”
He leaned an elbow on the counter. “Any way you could check for availability?”
A glance at the front desk showed it busy yet again. “I’ll take a look.”
    “Thanks.”
He didn’t bring up the dinner, or if he’d spoken to Deacon, so she just did her job and didn’t say anything, either.
“I have a suite available, but it’s one of our most expensive rooms. I’ll need a card to secure it if you want it.”
“Good enough. Set it up for five days. Can you do that?”
“Yes. Of course. We just need a twenty-four-hour advance notice for checkout.”
He pulled out his wallet and produced a card. She took it and managed to brush his fingertips with the retrieval. Her pussy gushed, and she pulled her legs together. Deacon had been right. She was a bit uncomfortable today, but not too bad. She couldn’t believe that she wanted Boyd so soon after the amazing sex she’d had with Deacon. Now that she’d had sex, Jessica wanted more. She was turning slutty.
“Is there any way I could take a look at the space up there in the suite?”
Jessica glanced up. The room was unoccupied, so there wasn’t any reason not to take him up there, except that she didn’t trust herself alone with him in her current let’s have sex with any handsom e man attitude.
Although her apartment was one flight of stairs below the expensive suite. Also an intriguing possibility.
    “Sure. Let
