from his hips and slithering around him caught his attention as they pulled him up onto his knees before moving to new targets. One moved down to wrap around his throbbing erection, pumping firmly in rhythm with the never-slowing movements of the wolf behind him. The other rose and clasped his throat in a gentle and yet firm grip, drawing his head back to rest against the granite chest behind.
    “So good.”
Saitou bit the words off into his ear as he continued with his never slowing pace. The hand around Haru’s cock tightened slightly.
“You’re going to cum for me, Haru. Do it.”
It was as if the command was what he had been waiting for as stars erupted behind Haru’s clenched lids and bliss rushed through his body.
Distantly, he heard Saitou’s answering cry, the rush of burning liquid within him that signaled the other male’s release, and the sharp sweet pain of fangs biting deep into his neck.
    He knew no more.

Chapter Ten
He surfaced slowly, the sensation like working his way through a pleasant haze. He was warm and comfortable in a way that he had rarely experienced even if there was a curious weakness to his muscles that he could not explain. It was like the painful and yet almost refreshing twinges he got after a long run or channeling a particularly stubborn piece of nature. The soreness that flared sharply up his spine when he shifted quickly disabused him of that notion. He knew for certain that he had never woken up in such a sate before.
None of the activities he made a habit of participating in had ever evoked pain in that particular area.
The feel of a hand carding gently through his hair and a gruff, “Welcome back,” whispered into his ear backed his previous assumption up.
Blinking rapidly to clear the fog from his vision, Haru finally managed to focus on the sight of Saitou’s face. The wolf was gazing at him silently, head resting on the other pillow with a soft look in his eyes as his hand continued its soothing motions through Haru’s mussed tresses.
“Are you alright?” Saitou’s voice was husky and rough and yet the question was asked with tenderness.
Clearing his throat slightly, Haru’s smile was as jittery as his nerves. He was not exactly sure what he was supposed to do now, did not know how he was expected to act. “Y-yes. I’m alright.” He studiously ignored the soreness of his muscles and the pain at the base of his spine.
Saitou’s face was cloudy, a frown tugging his sensuous lips into a downward curve. “This was too soon.”
There was an edginess to the wolf that had not been there before. Haru could hear it in his voice and see it in the tenseness of his muscles when he rose from the bed and began to pace. He could feel his own face heating, a betraying blush at the sight of his companion fully unclothed and seemingly unconcerned with his bare state. A frown eclipsed his own face when Saitou’s statement fully sank in.
“Do you…regret this?” He could not stop the words from coming, could not stop himself from asking the question, even if he was not fully sure he wanted the answers. He was so very sad to see the tension between them beginning to return. He had thought, had hoped that after their conversation, after everything that had happened, they would not be forced to endure this again.
No sooner had the words escaped him before Saitou was there, claw-tipped fingers cupping his face and warm amber eyes overtaking his vision.
“Never. I could never regret this. I only wish that you were more comfortable, that I had taken the time to pursue you properly. I am afraid that I have ruined everything in my impatience.”
The words rang true in Haru’s ears. They pissed him off for some reason as well. “Stop it, Saitou. Just stop. I don’t regret what’s happened between us. Yes it was quick, but I’m tired of wasting my life and always wondering about what could have been!” He could not keep the passion out of his voice, could not stop
