controlled her, during her marriage. Was she going to let it win?

“The flight is full? You don’t have anything else?” Grace asked the airline agent, tapping her fingers on the countertop. Luna had been right. This was the kind of conversation one should have in person, even though she still wrestled with what to say. Well, she had four hours on the flight to rehearse.
The gray haired lady shook her head. “I’m sorry. It’s summer.” She ducked her head and checked the computer screen again. “There is another flight that will leave for L.A. in three hours, but it’s not direct.”
“I’ll take it.” Grace reached inside her bag, searching for her nearly maxed out credit card in her wallet. She refused to use any of the money he transferred to invest in her business. In fact, her now prosperous company was worthless without the man who turned it into a reality. If she had to sacrifice some of it, so be it.
She figured out a way for them to be together. If he still wanted her. If she hadn’t blown her chances after breaking up with him a second time. The thought brought bile to her throat, and she swallowed hard.
“Gracelynn.” His whisper stopped her in her tracks, and her hand froze inside her bag as if it had been trapped. Sebastian? Was his memory so vivid in her mind, she could hear his voice that close? She shuddered inside, and turned around.
Moisture evaporated from her throat. There he was, within a couple feet of her, wearing a forest green shirt and jeans.
“Sebastian.” She managed to pronounce his name, and every other intention flew out the window. A five o’clock shadow only enhanced his sex appeal.
A wave of heat surged through her, and she motioned to put her hair in a ponytail, her thighs suddenly sticky. But even moving was hard. Her gaze settled on his face, and her heart hammered in her mouth. She loved this man, and couldn’t wait two more years to tell him.
“Ma’am?” the agent called behind her. “May I have your ID and form of payment?”
She shot a nervous smile to the woman, and said, “Thanks, but I don’t need a ticket anymore.” For now, anyway. The woman gave her an impatient sigh and motioned for the line to move behind her. Grace stepped out of the line so the next passenger could check in. She was within inches of him now. “What are you doing here? I thought you traveled on a private jet.”
He quirked up his lips. “I do.”
She sucked in her breath. “Did you come for work meetings?”
He stepped toward her, and she stalled. The egg and sausage sandwich from that morning was about to part with her stomach. The nauseating sensation traveled all the way to her throat. Shit. She should have rehearsed in the car. With Luna.
    “No.” He shook his head.
She licked her dry lips. “Leisure?”
He dipped his head, and she locked her gaze with his. “No.”
    “Did you leave anything behind?”
He snatched her into his arms and, within a breath, his lips covered and claimed hers. She linked her arms around his neck, and pulled him closer, matching his demanding tongue, stroke for stroke. Her pulse raced, and warm strands fluttered in her. She caught a whiff of his scent, and nothing ever felt so right to her. Not even before, when they were married.
A couple passengers whistled and chuckled behind them, and she let go of him. The last thing they needed was for security to come over and kick them out of the airport. “How did you know I was here?” she asked, catching her breath.
“Luna called me last night to thank me for the referrals. When I asked about you, she said I had to talk to you myself. It dawned on me that I couldn’t be one more day without knowing how you are. Without seeing you.” His voice was smooth and rich, like homemade whipped cream on Apple pie. “I returned to Miami and went straight to your office, but she told me you were here.”
A devastating smile spread across his face, and her knees wobbled.
    He stroked
