breathed in heavily, trying to catch her breath. She was stunning to me, and though she did not have those normal traits that a model or actress would have, she was more beautiful to me than any of those women because she was different. I would never be able to put my hand on exactly what made her different, but that mystery would always intrigue me. I suddenly found myself wanting to shout from the rooftops that I had found the one. For someone like me in my late 40’s, I never thought it was possible. I never thought that she was out there, but here she was right in front of me, and in the same bed. It was then that I knew, Jackson Lane, the womanizing bad boy was no more, my heart belonged to Rosalyn.

“Where have you been all my life?” I said honestly.

She looked over at me startled that I had said such a thing, but I meant every word of it. Her eyes started to water and she said, “I have been trying to get here for years. I have been trying to get to you, or at least my heart has. I guess I just didn't think it was possible, so I never took any action towards it, but following my passion of writing… somehow led me to you anyway,” she said in a very vulnerable way and her voice was very weak. I turned on my side and spooned her entire body and kissed her, pulling her close to me. This was how we fell asleep.

The next morning I was ready to share everything with the world. We woke up and after enjoying a round of morning pleasure, I demanded that she let me take her to breakfast.

“As long as you take me on your motorcycle,” she said. I smiled at her words knowing that she liked riding my bike as much as I did. It was perfect.

“Anything you want Rosalyn,” I said.

“Where are we going for breakfast?” She asked.

“I am taking you to the Beverly Wilshire Hotel,” I said is I got dressed. She gasped at my response, “but that is paparazzi central! They would never leave us alone,” she said.

“I know, that is why I am taking you,” I said as I walked out of the room leaving her speechless. A few minutes later the bike was rumbling underneath me and she was wrapped around me as she sat behind me. I smiled my biggest smile, ready for us to be seen as a couple, something I had not done in years. It was exciting to have this new ground of territory, this new frontier that I could explore with her. Sunset was crowded with Sunday traffic, tourists, and of course the paparazzi. Every stoplight seemed to be full of them and we could hear them snapping away and calling out my name. We finally turned down Rodeo drive and pulled into the hotel.

“We would like a table outside please,” I said to the host as Rosalyn looked at me with wide eyes. She knew that the outside tables were right on the busy side walk along the street.

“What are you up to exactly?” She laughed as she whispered in my ear.

“Nothing in particular, I just want to share you with the world, because I am happy that we have found each other. Is that so unusual?” I said as we walked towards the tables.

“Well… Yes it is,” she laughed.

We ordered a hearty breakfast to fill our bellies after hours and hours of lovemaking. We had Irish coffees and once we were done with our meals it did not take long for the sharks to show up. Before we knew it we heard, “Jackson look this way, please!” A random photographer said as they started to line up on the sidewalk snapping photos. Usually I would put my hands up to cover my face and would walk away, but today was different. I looked directly at them and smiled.

“Who is the lovely lady?” Another photographer yelled as they snapped photos. I could see Rosalyn blushing red. Clearly she was not used to this kind of attention, nor did I think she liked it.

“This is Rosalyn Brooks. She is a very talented, up and coming writer. She sold a brilliant script to a major studio, and that is how we met. That is how I fell
