having the reasoning, rationalization, and composure that species had.
And against his own rules, the way a Dom should act toward their sub, Malcolm had taken his gaze and focus off the woman restrained on his stage, and watched as Madison left and headed down the back hallway.
Malcolm finished the scene with his submissive of the moment, helped her into one of the rooms where she could rest comfortably, and preformed the aftercare she needed. When he was satisfied she was levelheaded again, could see the focus back in her eyes, he brought in another experienced male to watch over her. He left the room and made his way into the back hallway. He needed to regroup, clean up, and prepare himself for the next scene. He knew who he’d be restraining, knew he’d have Madison at his mercy.
She wasn’t a regular, but she had been his sub on several occasions. And every time he had her hands bound behind her, above her, and saw the euphoria cover her face when he struck her, something shifted in him. His wolf pushed forward, came out a little more. But his human side wouldn’t allow the animal to break free. He hadn’t shifted in years, suppressing that side of himself because he felt out of control, wild, volatile even when he was a wolf.
Of course, some physical changes he couldn’t control: the changing of his eye color, and the lengthening of his claws and canines.
Staring at himself in the mirror, he took in the sweat that covered him and that his short dark hair was plastered to his forehead. His wolf caused his pupils to flash white. He was shirtless, his wolf trying desperately to push through ever since he’d smelled Madison in the air, his muscles straining, his power trying to come forward.
He didn’t know why she affected him like this, didn’t know why he felt the desire to just let go and be who he really was. However, he was a male that didn’t shift anymore because of the accident years ago. It was an accident he’d always have to live with, and it was the reason he didn’t shift anymore, wouldn’t allow his wolf to come forward.
He was afraid of losing control and of the destruction he could cause because of it.

“D o you submit?” Malcolm asked.
Madison had noticed he never asked any of the other women. He only ever asked her.
“Yes, Master. I submit to you.” She lowered her gaze. Her pussy grew slick at just the thought of submitting to him.
Malcolm released out a low growl. “You’re wet.”
It wasn’t a question so she didn’t actually answer him. There was no point in responding. When he wanted an answer, he’d direct a question at her.
Her heart raced even more as his hands circled her wrists. Malcolm wrapped some rope around her wrists, looping them through until they were bound together. This is what she loved about him. His touch alone had the power to turn her on. It was everything about Malcolm. The carefully controlled mask that he placed for others to see, she saw beyond.
Beneath his mask, there was a beast that wanted out, and she wanted to be the one to unleash him.
“Did you like what you saw?” he asked.
“Yes, Master. I liked it very much.” A jolt of jealousy struck her hard, and she lowered her gaze once again. She didn’t want to think about him touching another woman.
Before Malcolm, she’d never been the jealous type. T just wasn’t what she wanted to focus on, but she couldn’t help herself when it concerned Malcolm. No man had made her feel so possessive, yet here she was, jealous of a fellow submissive that was getting his attention.
Madison didn’t have a claim on him, and she didn’t see him settling down with a woman like her … or a woman in general.
She was human, and she’d never heard of a wolf shifter settling down with a human. Taking a deep breath, tears sprang to her eyes at how useless her love for him actually was.
“You do not need to be jealous,” he said.
Glancing up, she gasped. The animal was under control, and Malcolm
