usually liked his women.  Normally he preferred blondes but he couldn’t deny the beauty of her caramel skin, which appeared even darker and richer next to his paleness.
She was also a bit too skinny for his liking.  She looked so fragile .  Once or twice last night he had worried that he was hurting her.  But she hadn’t complained. If anything she had encouraged their vigorous love making.  Her heart shaped ass however was absolutely divine...
He sighed and ran his fingers down her neck .  He was always rough during sex.  It’s how he enjoyed it, which is why he usually went for robust shifters.  Not tiny, breakable witches .
Ghosting over her breasts he smiled.  They were small but pretty with dark nipples that were pebbling at the cold of the early morning.   Well earlyish morning .  He gently trailed his fingers down her rib bones and she shivered. They protruded a bit too much.  She needed to eat more.  His wolf whined at the thought that this woman wasn’t being provided for.
No, he was wrong, she was prettier than the other women.  She was the prettiest woman he’d ever met.  Which is why he was attracted to her of course.  His body and his wolf took no heed of the fact that she was a witch, they only cared about the sexy woman.
He had lost his mind and allowed his lust to take over, more than once now.  But he had to stop.  He had enjoyed her body... repeatedly.  He had taken his pleasure and now he was done, it was over.
When she woke up he would tell her to collect her things and get out.  The meaner he was the less likely she would want to repeat this.   He was always a bastard to women, that way they never expected anything from him and were too disgusted by him to actually have feelings for him.
    Easy right?
    She started whining again.
His heart wavered at her distress, he wanted to take away whatever it was that was hurting her.  He wanted to wrap his arms around her and never let anything hurt her again.  He scowled at the thought while his wolf panted happily.
“Melody, wake up.”  He commanded brusquely.
Quickly she snapped out of her dream blinking.  She looked at him for a few seconds before remembering the previous night and blushed.  She sought to pull the covers up over her naked body but decided there wouldn’t be any point, he had already seen every inch of her.  No point in being shy now...
He stared at her intensely.   “You were crying out in your sleep.”  His tone was angry even accusing.
She gulped, it was a bad dream.  The same bad dream sh e had been living for the past three years.  “Oh.  Too many scary movies I guess.”  She laughed lightly.
He knew she was lying but chose to ignore it.  He told himself he didn’t care.
Avoiding his hard face h er eyes feasted on his tattoos.  She’d seen customers at Pizza Moon eyeing them in distaste but she loved them.  Each intricate design leading into another, skulls, birds, even a few flowers were peppered in amongst the names and dates.  She wanted to trace and lick each and every one as he told her the stories of where he got them, but she feared he might consider that to be a bit to intimate.
She had heard rumours about him from Terri and Liv but they were both new to the pack and were still just learning about their fellow pack mates.  She knew he had been in the army for a while, and then prison before becoming some kind of trained fighter.  The details were quite sketchy , Melody thought that most likely only his mother and brother knew the exact details of his life.  From what his teenage twin sisters said even they weren’t clear.
He lay on his back and slung an arm over his face.
“How come you don’t live on pack land?”  She asked boldly.
He lifted his arm slightly and looked at her coolly.  “How come you decided to move to this backwater town?”
She flinched.  “None of my business anyway,” she muttered before turning over so her back was to him.
    “I
