More Than Once
But something held me back. If we went down this path again, it would likely end the exact same way as before, with silence on his end and me spending months trying to forget our night together. I wasn’t sure I could go through that a second time. It seemed my fate was always to be the girl that guys had a good time with but never wanted anything more from. And I was getting tired of it.
“Trish was always the smart one,” I said. “The good girl. And me… I was always the bad one.”
He grabbed me around the waist, dragging me sideways onto his lap. “I like you bad.”
“I like you in these glasses,” I said, touching the frames lightly, running a finger back to his ear and into his soft blond hair.
“Do you?” His hands splayed wide on my hips, holding me against his hard chest and in his strong arms.
“Mmhmm.” I let my fingers continue down his cheek, his jaw, his neck. “You didn’t wear them last time.”
“I didn’t think you’d be into a guy with glasses.”
“You were wrong. You look cute in them.”
    “
Cute
?” He scrunched up his face, and I laughed.
“Cute in a ‘I want you to fuck me senseless’ kind of way.”
His eyes flashed with hunger, and his fingers tightened on my dress. “That can be arranged.”
I continued my exploration down his chest and his abs, along the hard ridges and smooth planes. “I don’t remember
this
either.”
“I spend a lot of time at the gym these days. Not much else to do when you’re in a new city with no real friends or family.”
“I’m definitely not complaining. Although I thought you were already hot as hell before. This is just an added bonus.” I swirled my fingers around his hard nipples, making him suck in a breath.
“God, Becca. You have no idea how much I’ve thought about our night together. The second I saw you in that store, I knew I’d do anything to be inside of you again.”
“Is that so?” I asked, arching an eyebrow.
He laughed, his voice low. “I had dinner with your family, didn’t I? I even let them call me Brett.”
“You did.” I pressed a kiss to the curve of his jaw, which was dusted with a touch of blond stubble. “I definitely owe you for tonight.”
His shoulders stiffened. “I don’t want you to do this because you feel like you owe me.”
“Trust me, that’s not why I want to do this.” The second he’d touched me, I’d thrown all my worries out the door and slammed it shut. Even if nothing happened between us after tonight, I wanted him too badly to walk away now. I’d done the just-sex thing plenty of times before. What was one more time?
I slid my arms around his neck and adjusted so I was straddling him, grinding against the hard bulge in his jeans. “I’ve thought about that night a lot, too. But now I’m wondering, who are you going to be tonight—Andy or Andrew?”
His hands cupped my ass, pulling me tighter against him. “Depends. Do you want the good guy? Or the bad boy?”
    “Can’t I have both?”
    “Not tonight.”
    “Bad,” I whispered.
    “That’s what I thought.”
He set his glasses on the table, and then he grabbed my dress and tugged it over my head. I wasn’t wearing anything underneath—I’d taken the rest off before coming to his room. He took me in with lust-filled eyes glinting gold in the light, and I felt his gaze move across my breasts and skim down, down, down.
“I love your body,” he said. “Every inch of you is beautiful.”
“Then kiss me.” It had only been a few hours since our last kiss, but I was desperate to taste his lips again.
“Where?” he asked, arching an eyebrow. “On the mouth…or lower?”
A rush of heat flashed between my thighs. “Both.”
With a groan, his mouth captured mine, kissing me hard and deep. He forced my lips apart, sweeping his tongue inside while he cupped my breasts with firm hands. I clung to his broad shoulders and lost myself in the taste of him. He found my sensitive nipples and rubbed his
