Triple Threat
with Chad. But Chad and I had gotten much closer, even though I tried not to let to happen. I looked from one of them to the other. What was I gonna do?
    “I’ll be outside, baby.”
I looked down at Giovanni’s pants. He was still only inches from me. I smirked, seeing his cock straining against his jean shorts. I gazed up at him then put my hands on his waist.
I wished I had the guts to kiss him or just put my hands through his hair. I was very attracted to him physically, but I didn’t want just sex from him. I really wanted it all with him. I had started to wonder if I loved him, but I couldn’t be sure. There was a fine line between love and lust.
I sighed and gave up on coming on to him. “Thanks for not saying anything about my panties.”
His eyes met mine. “No problem. Um… Remember we talked about hanging out last weekend?” He sounded nervous.
I got excited. “Yeah, did you want to do something?”
“Well… kinda. Um, would you go to see a movie with me?”
I shrugged, “Of course. You got one in mind?”
    “Yeah… um… Dark Force . It’s a sci-fi movie. Do you like those?”
I sighed, wishing he wanted to take me on a real date. “Yeah, I do. I wanna see that, too.”
    “Can we go tomorrow night?”
I moved a hand to his hip. “Sure. So it’s a date, then?” I hoped he responded to that.
    “Date?”
I panicked. Oh, no! I blew it already? I thought quickly then I laughed. “I’m kidding.”
“Oh, yeah. Right.” He didn’t sound happy. “So, I’ll come get you at like six. We can get pizza first.”
If he were interested in me, he would have jumped on the date comment, right? “Sounds like fun.”
“What sounds fun?” Chad asked as he came back in the kitchen.
Giovanni backed away from me quickly, “Nothing.”
    “Just making plans,” I added.
“I have a plan for you.” Chad whispered in my ear, as he leaned over me. Then he softly kissed the corner of my mouth. “Later.”
I looked up at Giovanni, hoping he didn’t catch that. He didn’t seem to, but was watching Chad.
“Food’s almost done.” Chad hugged me and was off.
Giovanni frowned. “Wow, he has it bad for you, huh?”
“You didn’t know that?” I expected Chad to have told him he loved me.
He sighed. “I guess I hoped… I mean, I thought he was joking. You guys make a cute couple.”
“No, no. You don’t understand.” I started to dread what he was thinking. “We’re not… I’m not…” I just couldn’t find the right words fast enough. “He’s not my boyfriend.”
He looked confused. “But he calls you baby, and you wear his ankle bracelet. He’s in love with you, and you’re not together?”
“We’re not. I swear. He’s my best friend. Our parents think of us like brother and sister.”
He took a deep breath. “That’s good I guess. So, he won’t mind if I take you out… I mean if we hang out sometimes?”
“He might, but he has no say in the matter.”
After it had gotten dark, Giovanni came to me. “My mom has a headache. I’m gonna take her home.” He caressed my cheek with a finger. “I’ll see you tomorrow night.”
    “Can’t wait.”
He hesitated then kissed me on the cheek. “Good night, Crystal.”
“Good night.” I put a hand lightly on his chest. Wow, he had such nice muscles. There was that desire again. Maybe it wasn’t love. I watched him leave with thoughts of getting him in my bed naked.
“Baby, wanna go in the pool?”
It was still hot out. “Yeah.” I hoped it would distract me from thinking of Giovanni.
Soon he and I were upstairs in the hallway bathroom. “Wow, baby. That’s nice.”
I smiled as he looked me over in my new blue bikini. Then I put a hand through his hair as he put his arms around me. “I knew you’d like it.”
“Why’re you so good to me?” he asked.
I looked up at him, feeling happy. “I don’t know. I guess I feel good when you do.”
“Is that just a hint of love in there?” His eyebrows
