fueled by screams, trying to stave off my own climax building with each stroke. I pulled out before Candy passed out and took the condom off so I could come in my wife’s mouth. The feeling was delicious, as her tongue massaged my shaft to prolong the orgasm a little while longer before I pulled out of her mouth.
We collapsed on the floor, completely spent. We were all going to need a nap before we had to go get the kids from school.
â€œSo, what was that about needing a fire put out, baby girl?” Neferterri joked to Candy.
â€œI’m not complaining anymore,” was her response. “You two are more than enough for me for a few days at least.”

I hated days like this, where I had to walk on eggshells.
Seeing my husband in a funk for the rest of the week, despite the wonderful time we’d had with Candy yesterday, was not something I was used to, and I wasn’t about to get used to it, either. This thing with Jay had him disturbed, but he had his moments where he blocked everything and everyone out until he figured out how to fix it. This wasn’t going to be an easy fix because of the people involved.
Yeah, I know, being in the lifestyle blurs the lines of monogamy and fidelity, but being dishonest to the one you love and are committed was wrong, period. It’s why relationships had to be strong before entering this realm. We’d seen couples who thought they were committed to each other, only to realize they were not sexually compatible to each other. Say what you want, but sex is as important in a relationship as any other aspect, otherwise, the divorce rate wouldn’t be so high these days.
He hadn’t been neglecting me or the kids or anything. He had the ability to turn off whatever was bothering him for short periods of time. I gave him space when he needed it, especially when Jay came over to shoot pool in the basement. Sometimes it took a man to help another man through his struggles, and I always loved Ramesses for being able to be there for Jay.
Jay had now been gone from Jasmine for nearly two weeks. Even though he was the one wronged in this latest incident, he still tried to swallow his pride and patch things up with her, but he still stayed with different friends the entire time. While it was nice to have him over and he was always great company, sooner or later, something had to give before my home eventually became a battleground for something akin to the “War of the Roses.”
Remember how that turned out? Yeah, those were my sentiments exactly.
Ramesses was in the kitchen cooking on a rare Sunday night, doing his own spaghetti concoction the kids seemed to like a lot. The way he joked with the kids and moved around the kitchen, it felt like the whole situation was behind him. I had to be sure, so, at the risk of upsetting the positive vibe in the house, I began my Q&A session.
â€œCan I ask a question?” I asked him, wrapping my arms around his waist as he sprinkled the chopped onions over the ground beef.
â€œAs long as it has nothing to do with Jasmine, fire away,” he answered flatly.
â€œBaby, I know what she did was fucked up, but she’s paying for it.”
He put the spatula down, which I already knew was not a good sign. I felt his shoulders tense up, and it was only a matter of bracing for impact from that point forward.
Before he could get a word out, the phone rang. I didn’t care who it was, I was happy to not have to hear him roar yet. I left him in the kitchen and grabbed one of the other extensions before one of the kids picked it up.
    â€œHello?”
â€œMercedes, it’s Candy. Jasmine’s on her way over here.” I heard the irritation in her voice. Candy and Jasmine were sorors, but they weren’t exactly as tight as they once were. I knew my best friend, and she didn’t like being bothered on Sundays. That was, unless it’s me or Ramesses.
