excuse reached his boss, Richardson decided to board his chopper immediately and went all the way to his home.

Up to that time, it seemed as though Richardson had been working too darn hard to ensure that everything in his company was up to date.

And it went without saying that the only missing link was Dr. Greene’s research. Richardson always expected every product to go through Dr. Greene’s office for testing and approval right before it went into mass production. And ever since they had their little chat, it seemed as though things weren’t turning out as he had expected since Dr. Greene continued staying aloof, something that Richardson didn’t like at all.

But since he didn’t want Dr. Greene to suspect that Richardson was starting to suspect him, he decided just to kick back and pretend as though he wasn’t aware. But Richardson knew Dr. Greene inside out and at that moment in time, he knew that something was cooking up pretty good, and that said, the only thing that would have made some serious sense would have been to watch him closely.

And as soon as he called him in his office a couple of weeks back, Richardson had decided to put one of the doctors as his assistant so that he could watch Dr. Greene and make sure that everything was being reported after every six hours. Yes, Richardson was that strict with his employees. But either way, it didn’t seem like that much of a big deal to begin with and in the end, the most important thing was for him to keep tabs on the brilliant doctor.

Up to that moment, Dr. Greene hadn’t given him the information about the secret invention that he was working on, and that gave Richardson some goose bumps.

Was Dr. Greene trying to play him? Had he been pouched by another company? Richardson knew that such were the kinds of questions that brought a lot of doubt and in the end, made things a little harder than they were supposed to be. And eventually, it always led to people having a difficult time trusting each other.

And the worst thing about getting Richardson to start suspecting you was that he wouldn’t let go until he was convinced that everything was working out rather too well with his intuition. And for the latter to happen, then you needed to make sure that you have convinced him beyond the reasonable doubt that everything is fine.

So that was how he decided to pay the good doctor a visit. Richardson is paying you a visit wasn’t a very good thing. As a matter of fact, it was rumored that those people who were found floating in rivers as well as dumped in dumpsters all begun with a visit from Richardson right before they were found dead, in the worst way possible.

And so for that matter, the only thing that would have made so much sense at the time would have been to face him. And thanks to his very many years of looking his prisoners in the eye right before killing them, Richardson had developed some trick that he used to make sure that he was always on top of his game at all times. And that said, the only thing that would have made sense was for him to pay him a visit when Dr. Greene least expected it.

Richardson, therefore, made a point of storming into Dr. Greene’s home without even announcing himself, and it went without saying that he was about to burst him in the act. But thankfully, it all went down when he was just out of the lab. And since Richardson and his thugs in the name of his security detail didn’t have prior knowledge of that place, it seemed a little bit tricky for them to just go about searching the place.

Besides, Richardson still needed him and as long as that was the case, then the only thing that would have mattered the most at the time would have been to act all friendly while he still could. The last thing he needed was to be in bad terms with someone that he considered as the golden goose. He knew jolly too well that if at all he was going to offend or make Dr. Greene to magically
