“What’s wrong , sweetheart? Tell me.”
Cameryn couldn’t speak as the sobs continued to rock her body. Nothing could express the grief she felt. All she could do was cry. She expected him to get up and leave her alone. Instead, he held her close, placing soft kisses on her face and stroking her hair. Why was he being so sweet? She shifted in his arms to look up at him. He smiled at her, tenderly wiping the tears from her face. His gentleness was tugging at her heartstrings. Uncertainly, her lips touched his. As his lips moved beneath her own, her kiss became desperate. Her hands clutched his face, kissing him hard as tears continued to fall down her cheeks.
She didn’t protest as he rolled their bodies until she was beneath him. Even then, she didn’t release him as they kissed passionately. He entered her in one smooth slide, and her body cried out for his. Her legs wrapped around him, clutching him desperately. He surged into her over and over again. Cameryn’s hands slid to his massive shoulders holding onto him with all of her might. She cried out with pleasure as his lips slid to her neck, sucking on a spot just below her ear.
“H,” she cried out as his body entered hers once again.
She could feel her pleasure coming closer and closer. She swiveled her hips as he dove into her again. Her world came apart. The pleasure shocked her body, making her shout with need. When H groaned into her neck, she knew he’d found his own release. He kissed her lips briefly and rolled from atop her, while still holding her close. Her head settled onto his chest , and soon she was asleep.

Hades couldn’t believe how hot his passion was for her. He should be ashamed of himself for even touching her when she was beside herself with grief. But for some reason, he’d known that making love would be the best way to comfort her. She’d responded to him just as eagerly as she had last night. In fact, desperation had made her passion even more electric. As he’d lost himself again in the fountain of ecstasy that was Cameryn, it had been hard to keep the tears from his own eyes. She was everything he’d ever wanted , and the passion between them had to be making Eros proud. He wanted her. He wanted her badly. Even eternity with her wouldn’t be enough. He clutched her to him in fear. He couldn’t lose her. The thought was unbearable. Even if he had to swallow his pride and seek out Aphrodite’s blessing on his relationship with Cameryn, he was willing to submit himself before the troublesome goddess. Nothing meant more to him than winning Cameryn’s love.
As she slept nestled against him so trustingly, his fingers made lazy circles across her back. She was so beautiful. That mocha brown skin and those arresting silver eyes. She’d been made to be his bride , to rule by his side for all eternity. He knew she’d be emotional when she woke again. Between the pain of losing her sister and all of her inhibitions in bed with him, she was liable to be in rare form when she awoke. He smiled to himself. He’d handle it, and one way or another he’d convince her that she belonged with him. In the meantime, he was content to watch her sleep.

When Cameryn awakened again, sunlight was streaming onto her face. A pair of masculine arms were wrapped around her tight. H. She shifted and felt the soreness between her legs. The ache was a reminder of how he’d taken her and made love to her as she cried. He’d comforted her and made her feel like no other man ever had. He really was amazing. It was too bad that there couldn’t be anything more between them. Last night had been incredible; so had this morning. She wouldn’t forget the way he’d made her feel , but she had to put an end to this. She was an emotional mess. Deena’s death had turned her world upside down. She had no idea how she was going to be able to keep moving, much less support her family. She’d failed at that already.
