Rebecca.”
“Good evening, Dr. Henson,” Rebecca said. “If at any time you feel discomfort or pain or if you need me to press harder or softer, don’t hesitate to speak up.”
    Lydia nodded. “Okay.”
“Take a deep breath,” Rebecca said.
Beneath the opening in the face cradle of the table, Rebecca waved her hand. The aroma of lavender filled the small cavity. Lydia drew in a deep breath and blew it out slowly. She felt her body growing heavier and sinking into the mattress as she relaxed.
Under Rebecca’s strokes, muscles tight with knotted tension gave up and released. Lydia moaned and sighed as different areas of her body received the attention they so badly needed.
When Rebecca began on Lydia’s legs, one of Jason’s thick fingers touched the back of Lydia’s hand. She turned her hand over and Jason linked his fingers with hers.
Take that, Brandi with an I.
The massage lasted a full seventy minutes. When Rebecca stepped away from the table, she said, “I hope you enjoyed that.”
All Lydia could do was moan. “It was awesome. Thank you.”
“Take it slow getting off the tables,” Brandi said.
“Will do,” Jason replied. “Thanks. It was great.”
    “Anytime, Mr. Montgomery.”
    The two ladies excused themselves.
Lydia sat up and looked at Jason. “Anytime, Mr. Montgomery,” she said with a roll of her eyes.
He laughed. “Hey. I wasn’t jealous about your therapist.”
“Because mine was a woman. Next time, I will have some hunky guy do me.”
Jason pressed her against her table, their naked bodies flush. “You need to be done? The only guy who’s going to do you is me.” He lowered his mouth to hers. She parted her lips and he swept his tongue into her mouth, moving and touching everywhere.
She groaned and pressed against him, her sex throbbing. She wrapped her leg around his waist and then stopped.
    Crap .
She lowered her foot back to the floor and pushed him back. “So not the place for that.”
He groaned. “I know. I know.”
They got dressed, albeit slowly. Because of all the oil, Lydia’s feet slipped forward in her sandals with each step as they walked back to the lobby. Jason held her hand the whole way, only releasing it to pull his wallet out to pay the bill.
“Here you go, Dr. Henson.” Rebecca handed her a glass of water. “I’m sure you already know this, but drink a little more water tonight.”
Lydia smiled at the soft-spoken woman. “Will do. Thank you.”
    “I hope you enjoyed it.”
    “I did.”
“Wonderful. I hope I see you again.”
Lydia decided to drag Jason out of there before Brandi could do her sales pitch to get him to return, preferably without Lydia.
She got into the car with a long sigh.
    “Good?” he asked.
    “Oh, yeah.”
“Ready to head home, or do we have a little time?”
“I don’t know. Can I call your parents?”
He punched a button and a phone ringing came from the speakers.
    “Hello?”
“Hi, Mom. Lydia is worried about the kids.”
She slugged his arm. “I’m not worried,” she said into the car microphone. “I just wanted to make sure everything was okay.”
Jackie chuckled. “We’re all fine. Levi conked out about thirty minutes ago. We got through Frozen once and then Lane and the girls took Jasper into the backyard to teach him how to play fetch.”
“Did they cry when I left?” Lydia’s heart pounded hard against her chest. She wasn’t sure what answer she wanted.
“Not really. Annie whimpered a little. Ellery pouted, but all that lasted about five minutes. Once the movie started, they got over it.”
“I’m not sure if I’m insulted they didn’t miss me too much or relieved.”
“Relieved,” Jackie said. “Trust me. Be relieved.”
“I thought we’d stay out a little later, Mom, if all is okay.”
“Sure. You kids have fun. Your dad and I have it under control.”
“Thank you, Jackie,” Lydia said. “I guess I needed to get out more than I thought.”
    “Happy to, dear.
