    “Is Avery my agápe?” I prepare for the worst but will settle for nothing less than an affirmative.
    Sebastian looks amused. “Do you really have to ask?”
    I believe that’s the confirmation I desperately want but I’m afraid to jump to conclusions. “I made her mine but I need to know if she’s intended for me. If she isn’t, another vampire could try to take her from me but I won’t allow it. I will never be parted from her.”
    “We don’t know a lot about agápes but I don’t believe you could have claimed Avery as your own if she wasn’t intended for you byAnteros. You’ve completed the final stage of the bond with her. You couldn’t have done that if she wasn’t yours. You might not have had the typical introduction or early relationship but every event was part of the plan to bring Avery Ferrand into your life.
