sound. Richard reeled and fell to the ground in a heap. I expected him to get up, but he didn’t. He laid completely still, unconscious from the blow. I stared at his limp body in shock, certain the last few seconds hadn’t happened.
But then he turned his eyes on me. Rhett. And I knew it was real. Even my imagination couldn’t replicate the abhorrence that swam in his gaze. He wore a t-shirt and jeans, nothing imposing or scary. But the look in his eyes was enough. The muscles bulging under his shirt, his fists clenched at his sides. He was a monster. A monster I knew. A monster that made me fucking horny. My cunt throbbed, wetness making my hips slip and slide against one another as I crawled backward to get away from him.
“Where do you think you’re going?” he growled. He took big steps eating up the distance between us.
I didn’t know. I didn’t have fucking clue. We were behind the Truck Stop by the old shed in the very back of their big parking lot where truckers could park for the night. The lot wasn’t very full tonight, so the closest truck was a good ways away. I couldn’t run to them. I would never make it in my heels. And they couldn’t see me, the storage shed blocked any chance of a view they might’ve had. But even then, I didn’t know whether I wanted to run the fuck away or throw my head back and beg for him to put his cock in me. But I knew which one I wanted more. The one I fucking needed. But that didn’t stop me from running. My heels clacked awkwardly against the pavement as I tried to get away more quickly. But he was on me before I could get more than a few feet.
He snatched me off the ground. “This is what you ran back to?” He squeezed my shoulders and shook me.
    “I didn’t run,” I bit out.
“That’s exactly what you fucking did!” he shouted.
I jerked back and tried to pull out of his grasp, but he was too strong and he followed me back until I was pressed against the rickety wall of the shed.
“No, it isn’t! I fulfilled my promise, Rhett. I went to that fucking funeral and now it’s done.”
“That’s bullshit!” His eyes were all over me. On my face, my body. Only a few inches separated us.
“Why did you follow me out here?”
He ignored me. “Did you kiss him?”
    I frowned. “What?”
“Did you fucking kiss him, Faye?” He hiked a thumb over his shoulder.
    “Richard?”
He laughed coldly. “You know his name? You’ve fucked him before?” He squeezed my shoulders harder.
“Yes.” I pressed my hands against his chest and shoved. “Why does it matter?” My assault didn’t even move him an inch.
“You were supposed to stay. I was going to help you.”
“No one can help me, Rhett! Not you, not Sarah. Now leave me alone.” I tried to move around him but he stopped me by pressing his body against mine. I could feel every inch of him against me. My skin was hyper-aware, tingling, and desperate for more. And then I felt his cock. It was thick and hard between us, pressed against my belly.
“But you think Richard,” he sneered the name, “could help you? Is that what he was doing, Faye? Helping you get a better life?”
Anger simmered under my skin. “He was paying me to fuck him, so yes, he was helping me.”
    “You’re disgusting.”
I gave him a wide smile, letting the insult roll off my skin. “And you still want me,” I hissed. “You just watched me fuck someone else and you’re hard. If anyone here is disgusting, it’s you .”
He pressed a hand into my hair, fisting the loose strands before jerking my face closer to his. Up close like this I could see his green eyes reflecting the moon above us. It was almost ethereal to look at. The orbs shiny like glass. “You didn’t answer my question.”
I blinked up at him. “What question?”
    “Did you kiss him?”
I giggled and he pulled my hair harder, forcing my head farther back until all I could see was him and his ethereal eyes.
    “It’s not
