company and tooled up all his available weapons inside a holdall, a few minutes after the call he was heading towards Hainan. The plane almost ran out of fuel but made the main port in time and refuelled. It was dawn and Kester took off and scoured the sea around the island, he spotted his ship twenty miles offshore. They returned to land and Kester bought a fishing boat for cash and went to sea. The ship docked in a small fishing port and Kester watched as the local police chief went aboard and shook the pirate’s hands warmly.  He started his boats engines and went slowly to the seaward side of the ship. By the sound of it the pirates were all pissed. He climbed aboard
Crouched and proceeded to the funnel ladder and in seconds he was inside and confronting a dirty tired Lee. He was glad to see him, and they embraced and he patted his friends back.
Kester took a silenced Ingrams out of his holdall and handed it to Lee, then passed him a fighting knife and a silenced .45 automatic pistol. The last item was his bullet proof vest, it was dark, and they waited an hour then left their refuge. Kester went first, and dropped catlike to the deck. Lee had told him there were 10 pirates, so they went below decks, and entered the mess deck. Where 6 were sitting in a drunken stupor Kester killed 3 and Lee took delight in knifing the remainder. They went up to the bridge where they found the other four. Kester took three out immediately, he left the other one alive and Lee scurried below decks to find the crew whom were locked into one of the large cabins. The anchors were raised and the engines started and the boat eased out of the harbour. The fishing boat in tow, once well away, Kester slipped over the side the pirates bodies, and Kester took the remaining live pirate leader with him. He tied him up and started the fishing boats engine and headed for shore. On the way he cut the pirates neck an d toppled his body into the sea then when he reached land he beached the boat and left it. Flagging down a taxi to take him to the airport, the helicopter a Kamov was waiting and flew him back to his China house.
Shu-Li was pleased to see him, and welcomed him warmly, he felt dirty and dishevelled and went to his room to shower and change his clothes then he went downstairs, and napped in the lounge.
He felt better at dinner time, and they ate the meal together, then afterwards they went to bed early. They made love for four hours and then slept in each other’s arms. He awoke at dawn, showered and dressed. He was eating breakfast when the butler announced he had a visitor, but they could not wait, and the Hainan police chief came
And stomped into the breakfast room
“Kester Wylie you’re under arrest” he said softly, at that moment Shu-Li came downstairs and interrupted the man.
“What on earth do you think you’re doing?” she asked the police chief looked at her distain on his face.
“I’m arresting him” he said angrily.
“You can fuck off, I have photos of you boarding a pirated ship and shaking hands with the pirate leader.
You can go back to your rat hole and fuck yourself” Kester replied, he lost it completely.
Kester moved with lightening speed, dropping him then his two cohorts before they could draw their pistols.
He tied them up with cable ties and pushed them onto the floor face down. Shu-Li made a phone call and within 30 minutes a helicopter arrived and Kester made his report, the police officers were disarmed and bundled into the chopper and it took off climbing skywards.
    “I’m afraid” Shu-Li said softly
“What will happen?” he asked, she thought for a moment.
“Probably they will pay a bribe and get out, and then I’m afraid they will come looking for you. One thing for cert a in they are no longer police officers, do you have a gun?” she asked sadly. He nodded and smiled.
“I know how to use it” he replied.
“From now n please wear it everywhere you go” she said softly, he
