interrupts me while gently grabbing onto my forearm. "No, I don't believe you. I know there is a reason why Grady talked to you, privately. He probably told you about my feelings towards you. Of course, I was devastated, but I want to know the truth, Inna. I know the truth is in your eyes. I just want to hear it from you. If you stop lying to me, then maybe I will leave you alone..."
I cut him off. "Then, do me a favor. Do both of us a favor. Just leave!"
A tear suddenly flows out of my face, as Nathan wipes it. I grab his hand, stopping for him to do anything stupid. I shut both of my eyelids, inhaling the scent of his. I miss him being around my arms, but I cannot let him take the advantage.
I cannot weasel my way out of Nathan's sight. He'll just keep coming back, asking for answers.
"Nathan," I gasp. He doesn't respond, but I can feel his movement. Slowly, I open my eyes, seeing Nathan's face inches away from mine. His eyes gazes at every feature on my face. First, he slowly makes eye contact with me. Second, his eyes gaze from my eyes to my nose. Last, his eyes lands on his target as he licks his lips. I start chewing onto my lower lip.
If he is inches closer, then he and I will kiss again and all those emotions will come all at once!
"Hey, Inna!" someone calls as he creates a distraction, leaving me and Nathan to stop what we are doing. Part of my body is in relief, and the other part of me is devastated. I really miss kissing his gorgeous lips of his. I really miss knowing that he's mine, and mine, only.
"It's your turn to bowl." Reed explains, and then walks back to the guys.
I sigh. Nathan already leaves my sight. I ruffle my hair and pouting my lips as I exhale.
What the hell is wrong with me?

Lying down on the master bed, I squirm as my mind wonders off to Nathan. Even though he is a couple feet away from me, he still has left me dazing. Groaning, I shift to one side of the bed. Then, I shift to the other side of the bed. After that, I shift to a different position. I shift to another position. In conclusion, I decide to sleep on the hard carpet.
Still, I cannot sleep, so I decide to grab something to drink in the kitchen.
Using my cell phone as a flashlight, I carefully walk towards the kitchen. A slight yawn escapes my lips, and I suddenly see Nathan chewing a bowl of cereal. My eyes widen. "What the hell are you doing?" I strain.
"Eating a bowl of cereal, duh!" he rolls his eyes and proceeds on eating Lucky Charms.
"Can I have some?" I ask.
He nods and grabs a bowl. I pour the box into the bowl before I pour the two percent milk. Grabbing a spoonful of cereal into my mouth, a long groan muffles as I shut both my eyes, embracing the goodness of marshmellows and cereal.
"Mm, they're magically delicious!" I chuckle, while chewing the food remains in my mouth.
Nathan joins. "At least we both agree on something."
I arch my eyebrows. "What do you mean that we agree on something? I still hate you."
I watch Nathan shake his head as his hair falls into his emerald eyes. "I don't hate you. I understand why you hate me, but you shouldn't hold your grudge towards me, forever. You know, you'll get wrinkles at an early age, if you do."
I stick a tongue out. "Then, let me form wrinkles. I can wear turtle necks and long skirts with my gorgeous wrinkles." I joke.
When we were dating, Nathan told me that he hates turtle necks and long skirts. He says that it's a totally turn-off for him.
"Please don't," Nathan confess, before putting a spoonful of cereal into his mouth. I laugh.
What are we doing? Are we bonding? For some odd reason, I'm starting to enjoy this goofy moment with him.
"Look, I'm trying my best to start anew with you. However, it's very complicated to do this when you're being so stubborn."
"I'm not stubborn!" I spat, throwing the spoon into the empty bowl.
Nathan scratches the back of his head. "Never mind, forget it."
I stare at him for a couple of minutes as we both
