surprised.

“Vincent, I…” I started to say before he shook his head.

“I can take it,” he said in a soft voice. “I promise I can take it. You won’t hurt me.”

I looked down at him as I began rocking my hips again. He was moaning softly and saying my name over and over as my hips came down on his pelvis faster and harder. I felt one of his hands go down to my ass; his fingers were digging into the soft flesh making me moan silently.

Soon, I was no longer the only one moving. He was raising his hips to meet my every downward thrust as I came down on him with tremendous force. I could feel my vaginal muscles tightening around his cock. I was at the point of no return, and he knew it. Vincent held me tightly and began raising his hips faster. I moaned and groaned as I felt myself suddenly coming undone. All the fear, all the panic, and everything else I had kept bottled up inside were now boiling up to the surface. I threw my head back and groaned as I felt him shudder inside me in response to the wild orgasm I was having at that moment. I cried out loud as I felt him filling me up. It was like he couldn’t stop, and quite honestly I couldn’t either.

It was the best orgasm I had ever had, and the fact that I still had him deep inside me fully engorged had me intrigued. I just couldn’t understand how or why he was still hard. I looked down at him shivering in the wake of my climax, but I didn’t feel him dislodging. Instead, he pulled me down to rest on his shoulder as he began raising his hips again. I was still highly sensitive, and maybe that was why he was holding me tightly. I was now moaning loudly and calling his name as he slammed against me over and over until he once again exploded inside me. This was it. I was spent and so was he.

I let out a small whimper when I felt his cock slipping out of me, and I rolled over to lay next to him. I was moaning and breathing hard as he turned around and cradled me.

“That was exactly what I needed, baby,” he whispered before he kissed the back of my head.

I was not sure if it was the post-coital mood or the fact that I was exhausted, but I could slowly feel myself drifting off to sleep. I was about to close my eyes when I noticed something…someone outside the bedroom window.

“Babe…” I started as I felt the sleep disappearing. “Did you lock up the window in here?”

“Huh?” Vincent mumbled. He was as sleepy as I was.

“The window in here. Did you lock it?” I asked again.

“I thought you did.” He was now fully awake and looking right at me. It was then I noticed that I was not imagining things. There was someone out there, and he was holding a gun, aiming it right at us.

“Holy shit,” I whispered when I saw the man’s face. It was Nathan Hughes.

Chapter 6

I was not sure whether it was the post-traumatic stress that was making me see things, but I could have sworn I was looking at a dead man. My heart was beating hard in my chest as I looked at Nathan Hughes, the man who I was sure I saw die a few weeks earlier, standing there holding a gun aimed right at us.

“Vincent,” I said in a low voice.

“Don’t move. Just stay behind me,” Vincent whispered to me as he got up and climbed off the bed.

I was breathing hard and deep as I watched Nathan, wondering why he was not firing. He had a clear shot at Vincent, and I knew that once Vincent fell, he would have a clear shot at me too. But at that moment, my safety was the least of my worries. All I could think about was Vincent and how I would keep him from dying if and when Nathan pulled that trigger. I was still looking at Nathan when I noticed my top on the floor next to my foot. I reached for it and pulled it on as Vincent did the same with his boxer shorts.

“Hughes, I don’t understand…you are supposed to be dead,” Vincent said. I could tell from the tone in his voice that he was as confused as
