didn‘t.”
“Don’t be so hard on yourself,” Will said, rolling his eyes, “Your gift isn’t worthless.  We wouldn‘t know most of the things that are going on right now if it wasn‘t for you.”
I sat up straight and crossed my arms over my chest, “Regardless of what you say, it feels that way.”
“Well, think of it this way, we wouldn’t know that Brady is in any danger at all, if it wasn’t for your visions,” Daniel said with a raised brow, “So, your visions aren’t worthless.  Besides, they have always revealed what we need them to and it’s always at the right time.”
I smiled, sadly, “I just hope we’re able to help him in time,” I whispered, worried.
Daniel reached forward as if he was about to touch my hand and then, jerked his hand back when he realized what he was about to do.  He forced a smile though he was clearly embarrassed.
“We’ll help him in time,” Daniel said, ducking his head.
“You’ll help who?” I looked up surprised to see Brady.
I searched his face before telling him a complete lie, “Bastian,” I said, forcing a smile, “We have to help Bastian with some research before his next paper.  We promised but we’re having scheduling problems.  We’re just trying to keep everything within the time period he gave us.”
Brady frowned, “What’s the paper on?’
“Ancient Babylon and it’s fall,” I said, sighing.  At least that wasn’t a lie.  Bastian was doing a paper about the fall of Babylon.”
His brows rose, “I could help him with the paper,” he said, smiling, “I’m surprised he hasn’t asked me.”
“He was probably going to,” I said, smiling, “But just in case, I’ll mention to him that you wouldn’t mind helping.”
“Thanks,” he said, sitting across from me as he continued, “I think the subject is interesting. Though not as interesting as the fall of Lucifer.”
Daniel coughed though I knew it was fake and I rolled my eyes realizing that I hadn‘t introduced them, “These are my friends, Will and Daniel,” I said, smiling as he took each of their hands, “They’re here to help with the research for my paper.”
Brady stuck out his hand and both Will and Daniel took their turns taking it.  For the first time, I noticed how mature Brady was compared to others his age.
“Do you know anything about the fall of Lucifer?” Brady asked, frowning at the boys.  I could tell that it shocked him to find them with me.
“Probably about as much as Alex,” Will said, grinning at his expression, “There is probably a story or a theory I heard that you didn‘t tell Alex.  So, maybe I know a little more.”
I turned to Will, surprised, “Why do you think we haven’t heard of it?”
“Because I haven’t heard it since,” he said with a shrug and then, turned to Bastian, “I heard a story from my aunt about Lucifer and it was different from the he fell from heaven because he was beautiful and thought he was better than God story that I have usually heard.  It basically said that he was jealous of God’s love for humans and that feuled him to try to overthrow God.”
I blinked, trying to keep my face blank.  Still, I remembered Lucifers disgust for humans.  I had viewed him as jealous.  What if the theory Will just stated was the correct one?
“It’s one theory,” Brady said, obviously pleased that one of us knew something that
