steps but Egypt is standing in front of me and not budging a bit. Then I hear what sounds like a scuffle and a thud. What the hell was that?

“Finn? Are you alright?” I yell into the darkness with panic in my voice

“Alex, go get Alec right now. RUN!” I hear Finn yell back. My heartbeat just kicked into over drive. What the hell is going on? I try to take a step toward Finn's voice but Egypt is pushing me back through the door with her body while still growling at the dark. Shit. Alright, go find Alec. I can do that. I run out the door and look down the beach to where the horses are and see Alec and Anja sitting on the beach talking. I take off at a dead sprint towards Alec while yelling at him.
“Alec! Finn needs you right away. Something is going on in the lighthouse and he told me to come get you right away!” I pant. Even with super human speed I am still winded from moving so quick.

Alec immediately takes off to the lighthouse with me, Anja and the dogs hot on his heels. Before we make it to the lighthouse I see Alec run in and yell for Finn. If my heart could beat faster it would probably punch a hole through my chest. We make it to the door and hear more noises and this time some yelling. I hear Finn say something in what I think is Gaelic and the noises stop suddenly. Then I hear a response back from a voice I don't recognize. Suddenly I hear booming laughter. Anja and I look at each other in confusion and shrug and start walking into the lighthouse. We make it two steps and the dogs are blocking us and growling at the dark again.

“Hey Finn? Are you alright? Can you come out here because these damn dogs won't let us in any farther” I yell out into the dark

“Be right out Alex, everything is fine” I hear Finn yell back. Then I hear him talk more to whoever in Gaelic, then I hear him say “Alex”, then a response from the unknown voice, then a loud thud and muffled laughter. What the hell is going on in there? Anja and I walk back out into the lighthouse yard and wait for them to come out. The dogs are so not liking whoever they found in there because they will not even let us move except to move farther away from the lighthouse.  After what feels like eternity, alright so not that long but I'm an impatient person, I see Alec walk out with a smile on his face. Next comes Finn who is walking next to a smiling, tall, large man with blonde long hair and violet eyes. Who the hell is that?

Finn and his new friend stop a distance away because the dogs seem to hate his new friend.
“Alex, Anja, this is an old friend, Cam” Finn explains as Cam inclines his head towards us. “Can you have Egypt and Phoenix back off so we can get closer than a mile?” Finn jokes

“Hi Cam, nice to meet you.” I respond as I try to drag Egypt back. “E, come in. He is fine, let him get closer” I try to soothe her
“H-hi Cam. Phoenix, come.” Anja mumbles. She must be nervous again. The dogs retreat closer to us but still have the aggressive stance. I swear these dogs don't trust anyone! I look over at Cam and Finn to apologize and notice something off about Cam. As he stands there talking to Finn he is making jerky movements with his hands, his eyes are darting around and shuffling his feet, almost like he just can't stay still. He keep glancing over at me too. He reminds me of a crackhead who is going through with drawls. So weird.

“So Cam, what the heck were you doing in the lighthouse in the dark anyway? You scared me half to death!” I ask dramatically

“Well, I was trying to sleep off last nights party cause I couldn't find my friends house, so I found the lighthouse instead. Not very comfortable let me tell you” Cam laughs as he and Finn slowly walk closer in case the dogs regret their decision to let them by us and attack. His accent is driving me nuts. I can't place it. It's like the most neutral accent I have ever heard. He doesn't have the Scottish tilt
