faster.  He flipped me over on my back and began to drive home.
We were both trying to outdo one another, and he shouted as he came, “I love you Precious!  Damn I love you so much!”
“I love you too, baby,” I said as I came right behind him.
We were both breathing hard and out of breath.  He flipped over on his back and I said, “I hate you.”  He looked over at me and grabs me from behind so we can spoon.
“I love you too Precious.” He kissed the back of my neck and we both fell asleep.

    Chapter 6 ~ Paris

It seemed as though life had been throwing me some curve balls lately. First, I found out that my sister Porsche is a stripper and there is no telling what secret Patrice is hiding. Ever since we showed her that videotape of my mom, she’s been rather distant.  I said to myself that I was going to give her another week to sort out what was going on then I was going to ask her if she needed me for anything.  I’m always surrounding myself with my sisters’ problems and trying to fix them when I need to be fixing things for my own self.
For example, Marcus and I have been together for at least eleven years and he has not once proposed to me.  Instead of me avoiding the issue I need to be trying to figure out why a guy who I love doesn’t want to make a commitment. We’ve been living together for four years and the subject of getting married has come up maybe twice.
During those two times he always says that the timing is not right. I knew the first time it because he just got drafted to play in the NFL but the second time there was really no excuse.  I could hear my cousin Leon say, “Girl, you better make demands on his ass.”  I am afraid to make demands because I don’t want to lose him. I guess when you have been with someone as long as I’ve been with Marcus it’s kind of hard to let go.
Speaking of Leon…“What are you doing calling me ‘Ms. Thing’ in the middle of the day.  I know your butt at work,” I said as I answered the phone.
“Ms. Click, you know I am off today girl,” Leon said. ‘Ms. Click’ is a name that Leon has called me since I was a teenager. I really don’t know where he got that name from but it has been his pet name for me for years.
“So what do I owe the pleasure of this call sweetheart?” I asked.
“I got some scoop on your man,” he said.  I frowned at the phone.
“Scoop?” I asked, “What type of scoop?”
“Meet me at Wet Wiley’s and I’ll tell you,” he said as he hung up the phone before I could say anything. I did a quick U-turn and was headed towards the beach.
I wonder what type of scoop Leon had on Marcus?  Leon is the type of person that knows everything about everybody.  How the hell he got it is beyond me, but all of what he says is true.  None of his information has been false yet, so I am kind of nervous. I did 80 on the expressway and I made it to Wet Wiley’s in less than ten minutes.
When I walked in the door I could sense that something was really up.  I sat down across from Leon.  “What’s up?” I asked.
“I think you need a drink first Ms. Click,” he said.
      “That bad huh?” I asked.
I could feel my eyes getting watery. When the waitress came to us I ordered a shot of gin.  I really didn’t drink the stuff, but I knew I needed one for whatever he was going to tell me.
“You sure you want that gin Ms. Click?” he asked.  I nodded my head yes and he gave the waitress an okay nod.  We sat there quietly until our drinks arrived.
Once the waitress was gone, he took a deep breath. “I don’t know if Wet Wiley’s is the place to tell you this,” he said.
“Just spit it out Leon,” I said looking into his eyes.   I could tell he did not want to hurt me.
“Ok, Marcus has a son,” he said.  I gasped at him and started shaking my head no.
    “No,” I said through tears,
