                  She smiled suddenly. She thought Freyr could get pretty wild before, but now she had to think of him in a brand new light.  When he controlled her motions during the act she had been forced to admit she found it sexy. She didn’t have to guide him and didn’t have to think about what they were about to do. It did make her kind of want to explore more options than just the regular vanilla sex she was used to. She just wasn’t sure if she could go as far as some of what she’d seen at the club. And she still couldn’t allow Freyr to think he was the boss of her.
                  Vanessa made Freyr buy her a caramel ice cream sundae, from the small ice cream shop close by her house as a way to prove she was the one still in control. Exhaustion struck the moment she opened the door to the apartment. Vanessa set her purse down on the entry table next to the door. Freyr followed her, carrying the ice cream. She turned a slight smile on him as he entered her kitchen, probably to put what was left in the freezer.
                  The blinking light of her answering machine drew her attention. Vanessa frowned. There were seventeen messages saved. An astronomical amount considering no one ever called her on her house phone. She checked her cell to see if maybe one of her clients had tried to reach her.  No missed calls there. “What is going on?”
                  “What is the problem?” Freyr said. Vanessa jumped, surprised at his sudden appearance. He smiled apologetically. She turned back to the machine, wondering if she should listen to them all this evening. She was pretty tired and she wanted nothing to disturb her alone time with Freyr. But if it was her mother and she didn’t hear the message, she’d be in really big trouble later on. Freyr encircled her waist with his arms and nibbled at the sensitive skin on the back of her neck. Vanessa forgot all about her messages. She wouldn’t be able to do anything tonight anyway. Freyr tugged her toward the bedroom, the bulge in his pants telling her of his intentions.
                  She followed him willingly.
     
     
    Chapter 6
    Warm light from the sun hit Vanessa’s sleeping face. Behind her, Freyr curled tightly against her back, his arm over her like a heavy weight. She couldn’t help the smile touching her lips. A gorgeous man wanted her, was deeply aroused by her until he was insatiable. Now she had good sex, very good sex with an immortal being.
                  So far, there was nothing for her to complain about.
                  Freyr shifted closer behind her, his morning erection pulsing against her inner wall.  Freyr loved falling asleep inside her. Said it made him feel the most connected to her, just as he explained he would never wear a condom with her.
                  She bit back her snort of derision. She had an ex that tried to say the same thing once.  Her answer had been to break up with him. Whatever it was about Freyr, she found she couldn’t really deny him what he truly wanted. So she decided to make an appointment with her doctor to talk about getting back on the birth control pills. She may like Freyr but she really wasn’t a fan of being a mother at this stage in her life.
                  She wiggled, trying to get comfortable. “ Kyrr ,” Freyr muttered, tightening his arm around her.
                  Vanessa glanced over her shoulder at her sleeping boyfriend. She had no idea what he just said. “Freyr,” she said.
                  He didn’t wake up. She wiggled again, seeing if she could get a reaction out of him.
                  Freyr’s eyes popped open as he hissed.  “ Kyrr ,” he said again.
                  “What does that mean?” she asked
