police are urging anyone with information to come forward. They are continuing to check airlines for a possible cash ticket purchase. Ms. Thornton’s parents are considering offering a reward within the next few days. - N. Sorrell; Napier Herald Newspaper.

What a couple of assholes. Their daughter is missing, and they’re merely considering a reward? Thank god no one was holding the girl for ransom. Nicki read through her report, before sending it on for print. Shit. They never found out what happened to that co-ed from Jasper last month.
The Napier Herald covered news for five small towns, each with sprawling populations of around five thousand. The Police Departments consisted of half a dozen men on each force, with volunteers pitching in for the really big stuff… like rival football games between Napier and Jasper.
Nicki frowned and searched her computer. She re-read the article on Janice Clarke. No sign of her had been found and witness reports ran from useless to absurd. Nicki had actually heard of Amy Thornton. Every time the family farted, it made the news. She had followed the socialite’s career through school and her acceptance at some ritzy college back east. After that… zilch. Nicki assumed she had left for the school when the monthly updates from the family had stopped.
The next morning, Nicki approached her supervisor about doing a follow up article about what Amy was up to after high school. After he hung up from a quick discussion with her parents, Nicki was told to drop it. “I get the idea, that the young woman did not exactly conform to her family’s wishes,” Max chuckled.

Chapter IV

J brushed a quick stroke of her chin across her Master’s fingers when he set the bowl in the cage. Jason caught her smile. The little touches were something she thought she was stealing from him. He placed A’s bowl of food beside her water and he ordered her to turn around.
Amy hoped that he would be loosening the ropes. He had her tied from her wrists to two inches above her elbows, forcing her arms to stretch and touch the entire length. A vibrator had been set on a low setting all night, shivering inside her channel and over her clit. It was just enough to keep her on edge, but not enough to allow her to orgasm and forget the pain in her shoulders.
“You will not climax without permission, A.”
“Yes, Master.” Amy had also figured out that the room they were in was monitored. Jason’s footsteps disappeared upstairs. It was the first morning since her capture that he had not stayed downstairs to at least bind her to a device for the day.
Amy heard a whisper, but she was too frightened to answer. “The Master is going to bring back another one.”
Amy knelt back, afraid to speak. Whoever the other captive was, Amy learned through sounds that the Master did different things with her. She could not ever remember hearing the other slave scream. Amy curled up on the mattress, trying to ignore the ropes cutting into her arms and the distracting buzzing in her crotch. In a way, she wished the slave named J would whisper again… but in a bigger way Amy hoped she kept quiet. She was afraid it would open a floodgate of questions that she would be punished for. J chose silence, and the girls spent the day wondering who would be joining them.
Jason turned up the volume on the recorder before he left, and he made sure the cameras were sweeping the cement floor below. The girls were still silently eating when he walked out to his van.
Singleton Shopping Plaza was on the outskirts of town. When leased to capacity, it was supposed to hold an anchor store and six smaller shops. It had been built when the market turned south and the housing subdivision that was supposed to support it was never finished. Only three houses were completed and only two of the smaller units had been rented in the Plaza.
The anchor store had backed out on its lease when the plans for the subdivision had crashed. The nearest
