between you. The best thing you could do was work to find a peace between what you wanted, and what the other person wanted, and not try to interfere in their life.
“Well, Mrs. Cray, how did your hunt go?” Dylan’s deep voice sounded right in her ear, making her shiver.
“It went just fine, Mr. Cray, thank you very much. The mother and her kids found every little piece of treasure that we’d hidden for them. And, I think they had a great time doing it, too. They laughed and laughed and in turn, I laughed. All in all it was a great day. Did you manage to catch a fish or two, or am I going to hear the story about the one that got away?”
He pressed himself against her back, putting his hands in front of her in a measurement of about four feet. “It was this long.”
She burst into laughter, then turned and wrapped her arms around his neck. “You’re a terrible liar.”
“You think I’m lying?” He put his hands on his hips and stared down at her. “You’re the one who lied to me, remember? When we first met?”
“You’re bringing that back up? Deal with it, buster. It wasn’t lying. It was omission.”
“Same thing.” She recognized the look on his face. He was teasing her and was close to delivering a spanking. She’d gotten to where she loved being spanked, because it always meant they always made passionate, sweet love afterward.
She knew some couples practiced spanking for discipline, but she and Dylan weren’t one of those couples. Part of the fun of spanking was the teasing that went on beforehand, just like they were doing now.
“Not the same thing. How many times have you know things and not told me, huh? What about Ives?”
He shrugged and she glared up at him. “Come on, you never did tell me that he’d come to the boat and threatened to hurt one of us if we didn’t give him the amulet. You just left that out completely, didn’t you? Isn’t that a lie by omission?”
“Wasn’t a lie,” Dylan replied. “I just didn’t tell you that he came by. And, if you remember right, he screwed himself with his threat. He didn’t know a cop was in the lower deck, having a beer. He heard every word.”
Charlene laughed at the idea of Dylan’s best friend, Steve, being down in the cabin listening to Ives threaten Dylan. It had put a stop to everything and Ives hadn’t bothered them since, which made things perfect in her eyes.
“Well, if that doesn’t matter than my lies by omission when we first met didn’t matter.” She stuck her tongue out at him. “So there.”
His eyes widened in mock anger and she took off for the stairs, practically sliding down them. Dylan was right on her heels and she ran for the master berth, laughing as she went. He clasped her around the waist before she got there, though, bending her over the table and pushing aside the cover up that was wrapped around her waist.
His hand came down on her bottom, slapping it over and over, the delicious sensation spreading through her like gangbusters.
She moaned and clasped the side of the table as he spanked, his hand come down on her ass in different spots, moving sometimes to her bare thighs and making her gasp even louder.
The feeling was delicious, and when he stood her up and pushed the straps of her bathing suit from her shoulders she wiggled out of it, then let him lead her to the bed.
She bent over it, savoring the smack of his hand coming down on her bare skin. Dylan had taught her to enjoy this, had made it something special between the two of them, since no man had ever spanked her before.
“Are you a naughty girl?” The sound of the slaps echoed inside the cabin.
“Yes, I am. Spank me.” She groaned and moved her bottom has he did just that, providing a delicious burn as his hand came down over and over. She groaned and moved, and when he stood and stripped off his clothes she turned onto her back, savoring the look of her husband, standing there fully erect, ready for her.
    He entered her
