naked on the cold leather chair, she began to search for the true meaning of a safe word and what it means to a submissive. As she scoured the Internet, looking for answers, she felt them enter the room.
“Janie, honey, what are you doing?” Jeff asked, coming up behind her.
“I am looking for the correct answer. I have researched every aspect of BDSM, and have studied and watched videos. I have learned applications and memorized the key points to the lifestyle. I know the clinical application process and what it entails. But I am unsure as to how to answer your question. Is there something I missed?” she rattled off, clicking away and searching website after website.
“Janie, turn off the computer,” Jeff asked.
“But I must answer your question. A Sir or Master’s question must be answered truthfully, or consequences will be implemented.”
“If you don’t turn that computer off, your consequences are going to be implemented right now. Turn. It. Off. Now,” Jeff demanded.
Janie shut down the computer and stood, turning to face Jeff. She noticed Caleb leaning against the door, concern on his face. But it was the hard, determined look upon Jeff’s face that held her attention.
He looked mad and upset. Had she done something to cause his ire? Thinking over what had occurred over the last twenty minutes, she couldn’t think of anything that would cause him to be displeased with her. But though her assumptions may have been marred by her need to answer that lone question, her actions could be questioned.
Realizing this, Janie immediately fell to her knees at his feet. “I am sorry, Sir. I shouldn’t have left the way I did. It won’t happen again.”
Janie flinched when she felt his warm hands upon her shoulders. Raising her head, she saw that Jeff had knelt down to her. Looking her directly in the eyes, his hard look softened. “Janie, we need to have a talk. I want you to get dressed and meet Caleb and myself in the living room, okay?”
    “Yes, Sir.”

Chapter Seven

Jeff and Caleb waited patiently for Janie to emerge from her bedroom. Both of the brothers didn’t know what to make of Janie’s reaction. She was highly sexual and a definite submissive, but it was her understanding of the meaning that worried them.
They had been around the BDSM lifestyle for years now and had never come across a submissive who took the clinical or logical approach. There was something missing in Janie’s application. It was like she took all the emotions, feelings, and bare sensuality out of the process and was conducting some sort of scientific experiment.
“Jeff, do you think Janie’s all there? I mean, she is one smart cookie, has a smoking hot body, and man she has the sweetest little pussy ever, but, brother, she’s definitely missing something, if you catch my drift.”
“Caleb, if you don’t shut the fuck up, I am going to kick your ass.”
“What? I was just asking a question, meant no disrespect.”
Jeff was seriously thinking about laying his brother flat when Janie walked in dressed nicely in a long, flowing yellow skirt and white blouse. Her hair was brushed and tied back in a ponytail. She had applied a little makeup. She was reserved as she entered, blushing as she looked at them. She didn’t say a word as she sat on the love seat across from them.
He watched as she straightened her back and took a deep breath.
She was once again the nervous, shy librarian.
    What the fuck!
“Janie, I want to ask you again. Can you tell me what a safe word means to you?”
He watched as Janie blushed, giving her cheeks a rosy glow. He knew she was thinking about it, but when she looked at him, it was her lost confusion that tugged at his heart. His little librarian didn’t really know what it meant to be a submissive, and that endeared her more to him.
Sighing, Jeff moved over to sit next to her. He took her little hand in his and began, “Janie, I know you have done your research. That was
