Aimee pulled up to a packed parking lot. Big looked around for a sign that would give him some kind of clue as to where he was.
“Where are we?”
Aimee threw the car in park and looked at him. “We’re at the car show.”
Big smiled. “Word? You really know what I like, huh?” he teased as he pinched her cheeks
Aimee giggled. “Yes, I know what your crazy ass likes. Come on so we can go look at some cars.”
Aimee and Big got out of the car and walked inside hand in hand. Big loved cars, and he was happy that Aimee had taken the time to put a smile on his face. Tara had been stressing him out so much that this outing was much needed for him. Big was in awe of the foreign luxury and sports cars.
“Damn, baby, you're making me wanna spend some money,” he joked.
Aimee smiled. “Big, you have enough cars. You don’t need anymore.”
“Nah, I gotta replace the car that I just gave you.”
“Oh, don’t even try it.”
While laughing, Aimee felt someone tap her shoulder. She turned around and was surprised to see her parents. “Hey, Mom and Dad. What are y’all doing here?” she asked as she gave each of them a hug.
“Your daddy dragged me here. Introduce us to your friend,” her mother urged, smirking.
Aimee smiled. “Big, these are my parents, Jovelyn and Russell Parish. Mom and Dad, this is my boyfriend, Big.”
Jovelyn stepped up and gave Big a warm hug. “It’s nice to meet you, Big.”
“It’s nice to meet you too.”
Russell extended his hand. “Big, do you have a real name?” he asked as he shook his hand.
“It’s Dakaden, sir,” Big replied.
“It’s nice to meet you, Dakaden. I hope you're taking good care of my daughter,” Russell said with a stern look on his face.
Big nodded. “Yes, I am.”
“Okay, well we’re about to head on out. Make sure you stop by tomorrow. Mommy is cooking. Big, you're more than welcome to come,” Jovelyn offered.
“Thanks. I appreciate that,” Big said.
Aimee kissed her parents and watched them leave. Big wrapped his arm around her shoulder and started walking.
“Why did your daddy try to act hard with his fat-belly ass?” he joked.
Aimee laughed and hit him on his arm. “Stop talking about my daddy. I didn’t talk about yours.”
“That’s because my pops is cool. He’s smooth too, but your daddy will get his ass whooped trying to be tough.”
Aimee shook her head with a smile on her face. If anyone else would’ve spoken ill about her father, Aimee wouldn’t have hesitated to check them. But because it was Big, she let it ride.
“You get on my nerves. You always got something to say about somebody,” she said, chuckling.
“But you love the kid, so stop complaining.”
Aimee and Big enjoyed the entire day together. After the car show, they went to dinner. When they finished eating dinner, the couple went back to Big’s place where they made love for the rest of the night.
Chapter Eleven
Big was posted at his bar enjoying a game of pool with Kiyan and Dinero. They were catching up with each other since they’d all been busy that week. Keece and Case were stuck at their tattoo shop working. Big took a sip of his drink and then began to chalk up his pool stick.
“Aye, Dinero, what's up with you and Asia?” Big asked.
Dinero shook his head with a smile on his face. “Man, I ain't fucking with that bitch no more.”
“Why not?” Kiyan asked.
“Man, her pussy almost had me at the bank about to write her ass a check. I can’t fuck with it,” Dinero joked.
Big and Kiyan looked at each other and busted out laughing. Dinero tried his hardest to hold in his laughter, but he failed.
Big held his stomach, trying to gather his words. “Wait a minute. You gotta tell us what happened.”
“Bro, I just told you. Her pussy turned me into a one minute nigga. Fuck her and her tight-ass walls,” Dinero ranted.
Kiyan laughed. “That’s the kinda
