legs and drive into her, warming her in an entirely different way, but surely
Alaura was only feeling confused from exhaustion. He’d tried to shield her from
the storm as much as possible until they found this cave to take retreat, but
he knew she’d still suffered.
When she fully woke, what was she going to think when she
realized two Weres bracketed her body? The mere thought of that sent another
surge of longing to his already throbbing shaft. What if she liked it? What if
she wanted them both to please her, making her dizzy with desire? Being a Were,
he knew firsthand how good it felt to share a lover, to give one woman the
ultimate gift of being filled completely. To hear Alaura moan with utter
ecstasy, to see her blissfully writhe and pant was something Shaw would give
anything for. He’d do anything for her.
    Even make her his mate.
    Even share her with Hagan?
No. He was letting his lust drive him. She wasn’t fully
lucid. It was wrong of him to feel this way.

Chapter Two

Alaura inhaled Shaw’s scent, a mixture of rain and the
primitive, alluring animal he was. Her body responded to him as it usually did,
her clit tingling and her pussy pulsing with need.
“Touch me, Shaw,” she whispered drowsily, saying the words
that had been on the tip of her tongue for days, weeks. She’d fallen in love
with him through the months of travel. He’d been her savior and he’d shown her
how a man should act. Protective and caring, not cruel and hurtful.
She knew he behaved this way because he was alpha of his
pack. He radiated power and took his role as leader and defender seriously.
Only she wasn’t a Were, like the others in his pack. She was human—an imposter
who’d somehow fallen into the good graces of this magnificent man.
And now, finally, she was alone with him, both of them naked
and free of their damp clothing.
How her luck had turned, when only months ago she’d been
left to die.
She sighed as she ran her fingers along his massive chest.
She’d been so cold and now she was surrounded with warmth and muscle. In front
of her, behind her, everywhere. Oh, and it felt so good.
“Touch her or I will,” a deep voice said from above her
head. Not Shaw.
She wrenched an eye open to look up. With the help of the
dim lighting entering the cave, she saw Shaw’s lustful blue eyes staring back
at her. His raven hair fell in wet strands, surrounding his cut jaw. He was the
most gorgeous man she’d ever seen.
    Yes, she was quite lucky.
They had shared several short, sweet kisses up to this
point. Nothing more, except the tangible growing sexual tension that could be
felt from across a campground. But being this close to him, with him watching
her heatedly, had her wanting a kiss and so much more. Instinctively, she
lifted her leg over his hip and felt his warm hand immediately cup her mound.
He found her sensitive clitoris and rubbed two fingers over it.
“Yes,” she whispered as a primal desire coiled heavy in her
pussy. Nothing mattered but the need to feel him inside her. To finally have
him as she’d fantasized about so many times.
“Alaura, I’ll do anything for you.” He glided his finger
into her entrance before sliding it over her nub again.
She moaned, relishing his touch on her sensitive flesh.
“Hell,” he growled. “You must know, though, that we have
company.”
A rough hand brushed across her cheek, pushing back a lock
of her damp hair. Startled, Alaura fully opened her eyes and tilted her head
back to see a man with stunning dark eyes, full lips and shaggy brown hair that
sat in clumped locks over his broad, tanned shoulder.
    Hagan.
Shaw’s second-in-command and a Were she’d grown to trust as
a friend. His masculine beauty stunned her just as much as his close proximity
startled her. She inched closer to Shaw. “What’s going on?”
With a pounding heart, she kept her gaze on the familiar
intruder. Hagan was almost as attractive as Shaw, but in a more
