it.
The deputy turned to the female
prisoner and kicked her out of the carriage with his
boot.
"Go on get the fuck out!" he angrily
snapped as his ego flew into her from his heel.
He looked at Luna and said "you won't
hold onto her for more than an hour and a posse will be right on
your heels. Then you'll all die a very bloody death".
"Well we'll deal with whatever the
Devil throws our way when it comes. Now get the hell out of here
before my partner changes her mind you ugly bucket of puss" Luna
harped back.
The stagecoach roared to life with
spinning spokes and the flurry of running horses as they sped away.
The prisoner named Jett ran over to Cherie and wrapped her arms
around her, smothering her with tight kisses and tighter
hugs.
"You know, I think he's right. Soon as
they get back, they'll mount up and head this way. We better go"
Luna exclaimed.
Cherie helped Jett up to her horse and
with Luna behind them, took off for the mountainous ravine about
ten miles away. As they rode, Jett leaned her head up against
Cherie's back, listening to the thump of her heartbeat as her
horse, Phoenix, rigorously climbed up the rocky terrain that lead
to their hideout.
Luna shouted out to them, "I'll catch
up with you guys later. Lilith wanted me to take care of a little
something".
Cherie nodded and rode up the twisty
and winding path to the hideout when Jett tapped her on the
shoulder.
"Hey, before we go up there, can we
just set our sights on a small, tiny diversion for a few minutes?"
she asked.
"What did you have in mind?" Cherie
asked.
"Let's go over this path...over to your left. Trust me,
it's not the dead end it looks like. Me and... him , used to come up here often. I don't
think all the other gals know about it. Just something I wanna
check out." Jett remarked.
Cherie shrugged and steered her horse
towards the mystery path that Jett described, a bit paranoid of
what lie in wait. She had not seen Cherie in three weeks since she
had been captured, but didn't want to disappoint her lover on the
day of her rescue.
The agile horse forced his body with
the two of them on it up the steep path like any mountain goat
would be able to competently traverse. The path snaked around the
mountainside and terminated at the beginning of a wider path not
clearly visible from the bottom of the mountain.
"There's the path we need to be on"
Jett said as she interlocked her fingers around Cherie's waist.
Jett brushed her lips against the back of Cherie's neck as they
rode on.
They finally came to what Jett wanted
to see. A crystal clear pool at least thirty feet wide that jutted
in from the side of the mountain, and was surrounded by rocks. The
pool had no earthly business being there in the vast open desert,
but there it was: a seeming anomaly in nature's bosom. An
overlooked Eden fit for two that concealed itself from calculating
eyes.
"Holy shit, how long has this been
here?! And does Lilith know?" Cherie asked.
"Course she knows. She is the one that
showed me. She told me not to tell, but you know us girls can't
keep our mouths shut" Jett said with a snicker.
Cherie got on her hands and knees and
crawled toward the edge. The tips of her hair skimmed the surface
as she looked at her own reflection. She could see down to the
bottom, and what's more, a few pennies glistened from the depths.
She obviously wasn't the first to gaze down into the oasis's
crystal abyss.
As she was just about to bring a
handful of water to her mouth, Jett leaned over her and wrapped her
arms under her belly and cupped her breasts in her hands. Cherie
closed her eyes and lied on her back, looking at her reflection in
Jett's eyes as the back of her hair embraced the water's edge. Jett
leaned in and kissed Cherie, sending ripples of water pulsing
throughout its surface. She brought her nimble fingers down to her
jeans, unbuttoning the copper buttons one by one before sliding
them down to her ankles and away from her. Her legs looked
deliciously
