“I’ve been waiting to hear thos e words, Nitika.” He lifted one of her hands and kissed the palm. “So does this mean you’re willing to give us a chance?”
She stepped closer and looped her arms around his neck. “That’s exactly what I’m saying.”
He lowered his head and gave her the kiss she’d been craving. “I love you, Nitika Walsh.”
She gave him a crooked smile as she said, “I love you, too.”
“So, what are we going to do with all this newfound love?” He wiggled his eyebrows, making her laugh.
She smiled sweetly then sprinted for the stairs. “Race you to the bedroom!”
