did you get hold of Roger?” She had a strong feeling she wasn’t going to like the answer.
“I put you t o bed.” He took careful note of her expression. A myriad of emotions—too fleeting to identify—registered on her face as it flamed with colour.
“But I didn’t have anything on .” She placed a hand over her eyes.
“I know . I undressed you.” He tried not to chuckle when she closed her eyes, then opened them in a dangerous flash.
“Y ou took advantage of me!”
“If I’d made love to you, now that would have been taking advantage.” He rose and put his mug down. “Trust me, Alex. When , not if. And when we make love again, you’re going to remember every single detail. I promise.” Then he left her to ponder his words.

    Chapter Six
A lex lay on the settee trying to fall asleep, but couldn’t. His words continued to batter her defences. She was beginning to reconsider. Why not? Just once, it couldn’t hurt, she argued with herself. Then, with a restless itch, she stood and wandered into the kitchen. She pulled a carton of juice out of the fridge and drank straight from the container.
S omehow she wasn’t surprised when Solomon walked in uninvited.
“No cups?” he followed the trickle of orange on her chin with his eyes. It trailed and dribbled over her skin. Moving close to her, he placed a hand on either side of her body, pinning her to the fridge. Sensing her weakening, he pushed home.
“Sol, we need to  ….” Her words died on her breath and she found herself unable to speak. She wanted him with every desperate, spine-tingling urge of her fanny that ached and screamed for him. Wishing she could control that particular part of her body, she could feel her defences crumbling fast.
“I know what we need to do ,” he whispered, his hand moving to cup her face.
Alex leaned into it , relishing the sweetness.
H is thumb rubbed gently at the corner of her mouth, trailing across her lips. “Yes, this,” he breathed.
H is other hand stole over her breast, kneading it softy. He pushed the material to the side, flicking her bra open. His gaze burnt over her, hot and hungry. His hand inched across her nipple, already hard and pebbled, and his fingers slid and clasped her as he pulled her shirt out. Leaning against her, he let her feel how hard he was, how much he wanted her.
“ Are you on the pill?” he asked, cursing that he’d left his condoms in the house.
“ Yes, but we shouldn’t be doing this,” she whispered, praying to God he wouldn’t stop now. Her hands were clutching the worktop so tight that her knuckles were white.
“Why not?” he muttered, chasing her lips with his tongue, pressing hard against her.
Sh e gave in to a punishingly seductive open-mouthed kiss as he thrust his tongue inside her mouth. Her tongue danced with his, sucking and licking, and her hands scrambled upwards around his neck pulling him close.
He yanked her skirt up and fingered her suspenders, twanging them. “I approve,” he muttered, nuzzling her neck. He circled low at the hollow of her throat, listening as she groaned, then rubbed his palm against her. “You like this?” She nodded. “And how about this?” He growled in approval when her nails dug into his back.
She ran her hand over his body, the paths she’d wandered coming back to her in torrents of lust. Her fingers trickled over his chest, dipping down to where a smattering of hair disappeared beneath his jeans. She hovered for a brief instant over the button, flicking it open moving the zip down slowly to release him. She stroked his heavy erection with an unhurried, almost worshipful ease.
“Alex , I can’t wait!” Tearing her knickers off, he threw the remnants to the floor, lifting her easily. He wrapped her legs around his waist and slammed her against the fridge. She was wet and oh-so-ready. Sol rumbled as he entered her, tunnelled in, coming home.
In one sharp abrasive stroke he filled her.
    Alex threw her
