heights of that desire, we fall together, never letting go yet letting everything go at the same time. We hold onto what matters and shed the ghosts and pain we no longer wish to harbor within ourselves. We save each other over and over again, even when we don’t feel like being saved. It’s an answer we give without ever being asked a question. We give, we take, and we give back more. There’s nothing more beautiful than two people being so in love with the others happiness and pleasure. The rewards aren’t expected but they come in bountiful ways.

BRISBAN ROLLS OVER AND PULLS the sheet off of him. “I don’t think one can even call what we just experienced sex.” We’re breathing hard and covered in sweat. “That was intense.”
“It was,” I answer. Everything about our relationship is intense, yet there are so many moments where things are so simple and uneventful. Brisban makes the most effortless things seem intense.
“Are you ready for more education?” His smile is mischievous. I love this particular smile of his most. His nose crinkles and his eyes light up with the tiniest of creases forming at the corners.
    “There’s more?”
He nods. “Yes, there’s much more.”
Mirroring his smile back at him I ask, “Well then, what are we waiting for? I must say after the education here in bed I’m eager for more.”
We both laugh and he pulls me in for a hug. “You are such a dirty woman and I love it, but what I have left for you tonight does not involve sex.”
I stick out my bottom lip. “Are you sure? We have the whole night, you know?” I waggle my eyebrows up and down and give him my sad eyes.
“Don’t tempt me, Candace, or we’ll end up in this bed for eternity.” He grabs a pillow and smacks me with it as he slides from under the sheets.
“Hey!” I scream while giggling and reach out to slap his naked ass. He jumps and rubs at the little red mark I left.
“Whoa, woman, you’re treading shallow waters. Don’t make me go all caveman on you. Stop being so distracting. I’m trying to stay on track with my master plan for tonight.”
I roll over and prop myself up on my elbows. “Master plan? What master plan?”
“That’s for me to know and you to find out.” Just then the doorbell chimes and my heart drops. Doorbells only mean bad things lately. He sees the worry crossing my face.
    “I’m expecting someone.”
“You are? I guess I should get dressed then. Who is it?” I’m trying to act calm but I am naked and certainly didn’t expect him having company.
“No, you wait here. Stay just the way you are.”
I frown and tilt my head to the side.
“Trust me. Just wait here.” He pulls on a pair of jeans and disappears out of the room.
I’m nosy so I get up and peek out the window. “It’s a pizza delivery car.”
    Pizza delivery?
Within minutes Brisban comes around the corner and he’s holding a huge pizza box, wearing a giant grin on his face.
“Surprise!” he exclaims and plops the pizza box down onto the bed.
“Pizza is the surprise?” I laugh.
“This is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. The other is downstairs in the fridge. We’ll have that for dessert, but first we’re having Hawaiian pizza with extra cheese.”
He opens the box revealing a huge pizza covered in pineapples and Canadian bacon smothered in cheese. It smells so good.
“We’re going to have a pizza picnic in bed, naked,” he says taking his pants back off. “I hope you like pizza.”
I sit up and pull the sheets up around me. “Are you kidding? You’re asking a pregnant woman if she wants cheesy goodness. What do you think?”
“Good point. What would you like to drink? I usually have beer with pizza but you can’t drink beer so what would you prefer? I have soda, water, and juice.”
“I better stick with water.” He leans down and kisses me on the cheek.
“I love you being here with me like this. I can’t think of anything else I’d rather be
