Liam camouflaged with the night. We landed back on my roof, and in a blink of an eye he was human again with me in his arms and my head cradled against his chest.
“Thank you for that. I enjoyed every moment of it, and saw things I had never seen while living here my whole life.” I said still hugging him. I didn’t want to let him go, not now, not ever.
“You’re welcome Veronica, and I don’t want you to let go.” He looked down at me and I looked up at him. He grabbed my hand and we walked back down to my apartment.

Chapter 9

I took Liam to my apartment knowing that my mom was at her new job and she wouldn’t be home till later on tonight. The sun was still setting so it wasn’t fully night out, but it was kind of dark in the house since there are no lights on and we didn’t waste any time turning any on.
Night time in New York City was the time when the city came to life. You could hear sirens from either an ambulance or a cop car passing by.  The window in my room was open so a lot of noise was coming in from outside. Car horns blared and people were standing in front of the brown stone. The music that was NY played for us tonight. I didn’t turn on the lights in my room. I liked the dark. Sometimes I found comfort in it when I needed to be alone and this time I wanted to be alone, with Liam.
I locked the door and turned around. That look of desire that was on Liam’s face right then matched my own, and the need in his dragon eyes told me that this was something he wanted to do too.
We stood in the dark looking at each, his ruby red dragon eyes started to sort of glow. He was inhumanly beautiful, and sometimes I still felt like I was going to wake up from this dream.
We didn’t need to say anything and he didn’t need to read my mind . He wanted me just as much as I wanted him. He slowly walked towards me and grabbed my face with his strong callous hands.
He traced my bottom lip with his thumb. He was looking at my mouth in wonder.   “We don’t have to do this.” He says.
“I want to; I wanted this one good memory of us, if this was all I could have. Then I would take it.”
I looked at his mouth and he smirked. “I am going to kiss you now Veronica.”
“Okay and I am going to kiss you back.” I whispered the reply. His mouth came crashing down on mine. Our tongues danced to our favorite forbidden song that only our hearts knew the words to. He tasted of the mint and ash that I had smelled before. It was weird but I guess it couldn’t get any weirder since I was kissing a man who transformed into a dragon.
I started to move backwards towards my bed. He had one hand on the back of my neck his other hand slowly made it’s descent down my chest. He started to caress the side of my breast never actually touching my nipple, and it was the most erotic thing I had ever experienced. I let out a moan in protest and I knew he was savoring the moment. He smiled against my mouth and I slowly bit his bottom lip, not causing much pain, but he must have enjoyed it enough because he growled.
We both went tumbling backwards on the bed and he fell on top of me and I laughed. I had my hands in his hair tugging his mouth towards me again. I could feel his hardness between my thighs. His jeans were rubbing against my core and I was slowly burning up from the inside out, this was where I was meant to be.
“Take off your clothes Ronnie.” I took off my shirt within a few seconds, and he pulled off my jeans. I was left in nothing but black string bikini underwear.
Feeling bashful, I tried to cover up my breast with my hands. I looked up at him. He started to unzip his jeans, and I noticed that he had no underwear on. He freed himself from his jeans, and let me tell you, this man was huge.
He looked at me with a smirk on his face. “I will be gentle; you don’t have to worry about that.” He slowly removed my hands from my chest and he looked at me, really looked at me. For a quick second his
