it,” she said. “You can’t bring Kevin in here and make me fall in love with him and then expect me to just let him go. I love you both. You know I do. And you know I can’t be happy if he leaves.
“So I need you to find him a job, a permanent one, here. I’m moving into the spare room until you do.”

Rowen knew the grin he couldn’t wipe off his face was pissing her off. And that just made him grin all the more. She was so damn cute in her high dudgeon, getting ready to turn around and stomp off. An effect he knew would be ruined by her spiky little heels. Hard to stomp in those girlie, fuck-me shoes.
He saw Kevin was enjoying the show, too.
But Rowen knew Annabelle was truly suffering, so he brought it to an end. He grabbed her arms and tugged her up against him.
“Babe,” he said. “Did you think I’d brought Kev in as a temporary fuck toy for you? Did you think I’d let anybody fuck you, share you, for just a short-term thrill?”
Well, he had been a little worried she would, in fact, think that.
As soon as he’d met her, he couldn’t help imagining her as the centerpiece in a permanent ménage. He thought about it, dreamed of it, hoped for it.
All the while, he’d also been convinced that what he grasped for was impossible. What bright, competent, beautiful woman would want to share her body with two men? Well, that wasn’t exactly the question. He could walk into the theater right now and drag out two or three of them who’d be more than willing.
The question was more, could she share life and love? Could she find space in her to take both of them into her bed and into her heart? Could she openly live with two men, letting them share her?
He hadn’t known for sure that Kev would be willing, either. A fast double-fuck, that nothing-but-hot feeling of the two of them going at one woman, was one thing. But loving a woman and being willing to share her with another man, that was another.
For himself, Rowen had been pretty sure he could do it. And the past six weeks had confirmed it. He loved fucking Annie, and he loved fucking Annie with Kevin. And a little to his own surprise, he loved the thought of Kevin fucking her. When he was at the theater late, he pictured it in his head, and it added to the pleasure he had of walking in and joining them. Even when he was alone in his bed and Annie was with Kev, he liked thinking of what they were doing, and even better, hearing it. Of course, most the time he didn’t stay alone in his bed for long.
    But that was Rowen.
This morning, he’d learned, Kev felt the same way.
This morning, Rowen had told Kev that he wanted to make sharing Annie a permanent deal. If Kev wanted it, too, Rowen had the solution.
The day before, Ro had put in a bid on a little theater that was standing empty. His plan was to develop a house that focused on traditional theater, where great writing and great acting, rather than big productions and pyrotechnics, made the show. He figured he could act and Kev could direct, each of them taking on other Broadway jobs whenever appealing roles and shows came up.
Kevin loved the idea, both parts of it. He wanted the job and the ménage. Kev was a happy man, a grin plastered on his face just like his own. He stepped up, making an Annie sandwich.
Rowen focused his attention back on her. She was looking at him now with a kind of stunned wonder in her eyes. “I already got him a job, sweetheart. He wants to stay here and I want him to, as well. We want to share you, Annie, for good. It’s what I wanted all along, but could hardly dare to hope for.”
He kissed her and could feel Kevin pressing up against her.
“Is that something you could imagine? Loving us both? Letting us both have you?”
Tears filled her eyes as she nodded. “Yes,” she said. “It’s what my mother did.”
“Huh?” Rowen leaned back to see her better.
“What she wanted, anyway. My mother loved two men, but she had to give one up
