understand."
"Good. Get done whatever you need to do tonight. A car will pick you up three hours before we leave. Any questions?"
"Just one. Will there be tequila onboard?"
    Chapter 11

Jasmine sat in Silas' office reading the correspondence on this itching thing. Of all the things to put on a wolf... the pictures of the full-bloods who’d shredded their skin trying to get relief saddened her. No one should suffer like that. Every time she thought of the reason behind it all, she wanted to grab this Ivona person and strangle her. What happened to asking nicely for assistance? Why make the innocent suffer?
"Find anything new?" Silas asked from the door.
"No. It burns me that we're actually taking this bitch to Scotland. If we'd sent Angus or Asia, we might've learned the cure though the bracelet."
"According to Cain, that wouldn't have worked with this human, and she's a witch, not a bitch." He sat on the corner of the desk and took her hand.
She released a sigh of pleasure as he massaged it working his way up her arm. "I know, but I'd love to have a face to face with her. Rescuing her mama is one thing, drugging you and others is another."
    He smiled.
"She'd better not try anything with Damian or Raoul."
"If she does, she dies and we'll find another way to stop the itching. I only agreed to go along with her request for you. Otherwise I would've had her removed."
Jasmine shook her head at his archaic remark. You can't just make people disappear, at least not in her world, but she'd grown tired of arguing with him over the matter, and simply urged him to fix the problem as fast as possible. Which meant this rescue. But she didn't like it. "Everyone's back home. I promised the kids we'd all eat together."
"Sounds nice, who's coming to dinner?"
"The twins and their families, Cameron's clan and mom. Asia and Hawke are having dinner with her parents, Barticus and Amynta." She smiled at his calm response but she knew he’d been worried over the twins when they hadn’t heard from them. When Danielle had finally contacted her to let her know when they would return she made sure they understood how worried everyone had been when they went off the grid. After apologizing and never explaining what happened, they’d agreed to dinner tonight.
He nodded. "Sounds good. I'll see the twins in a bit, but we need to go over a few things that's been happening."
"I talked to Rose and Danielle. They’re glad to be home but miss the sand and sun." She didn't mean to sound wistful but she'd love to sit in the sun or build sandcastles with her kids.
"I'm glad they enjoyed their time away, now's the time to focus."
Asia knocked on the door and stepped inside. Hawke came in behind her. "Sir, Mistress," Asia said, standing tall in a pair of pressed jeans and white shirt with the KnightForce emblem on the pocket.
    Silas nodded.
Jasmine smiled at Asia and Hawke, two of her favorite people. "What's going on?"
"A few questions regarding Damian's quest," Asia said slowly.
"Ooh, you're calling it a quest, I like that," Jasmine said, moving slightly in her chair to see them better since Silas hadn't moved or released her arm.
Asia smiled. "Mission, assignment, job, are all relevant titles."
"True, but quest gives it a bit of mystery, action, or adventure, don't you think? Besides it sounds more like Damian than the other titles," Jasmine said.
Asia's smile widened, chasing the dark look of concern from her face. "Yes, you're right." She paused. "I'm concerned over this entire operation; it seems... off. It's not adding up for me. How'd the witch identify Hawke? Why not approach Cain or Abel, who've been in the area a long time? It seems strange that her need is so desperate now that Damian is in the area."
Jasmine hadn't seen it from that angle and had to agree Asia made valid points.
"What you're saying is true," Silas said slowly, his finger rubbing the inside of Jasmine's arm. "Cain and Abel know that area better than most
