read it was only a little past ten p.m. I managed to lose my virginity, meet Wonder Woman, disrespect Mitch, get off in front of a bunch of strangers, and get sent to my room in two hours. Jesus, Becca was right, this place was a rabbit hole.
    Above the couch was a large picture of a beach with the sun setting across the ocean. It looked serene and calm until I looked on the faraway part of the isolated beach. At first the picture led me to believe it was a log then I looked a little closer and saw that it was a silhouette of a couple in a very intimate position. It was illicit but romantic. I walked over toward the kitchen area of the flat. It was small but had the essentials; a fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and a table that seated four. I grabbed a Coke and walked over to the bedroom area. The bed was a huge four-poster that had metal running on top between each post and to the middle above the bed creating a domed X. The headboard was taller than me and solid black wood. The only wall décor in the whole apartment was the picture above the couch. There was one bedside table that held the clock and a lamp. Besides the table, the only other storage was drawers under the bed.
    I opened the first drawer and it held a variety of scarves, fur lined cuffs, and a few eye masks. The next drawer had batteries, condoms, and a bunch of different flavors of lube. The next drawer had several packaged items. A couple bullets, something that looked like a butterfly, some nipple clamps, and a cock ring. The other side of the bed had three more drawers. It wasn’t midnight yet and even though I usually went to bed by eleven, I could not sleep knowing Mitch would be coming up soon. I decided to channel surf until Mitch showed up or I fell asleep, but there was nothing on and no DVD player or even a cable box for that matter, yet somehow the remote changed the channels.
    I started to wonder about that. How could it change the channel? Unless it had an IR extender, infrared light extender, which would let you control cable box, DVD player, or anything hooked up through your HDMI, high-definition multimedia interface. There was one of these at the shelter I worked at. It was kept hidden so it would not be tampered with or stolen. I pressed input on the remote deciding to even see if there was a DVD player hooked up. There were six slots. The first HDMI was hooked up to Satellite TV. The second was hooked up to the DVD player.
