    Farron pushed the green communication button and for a moment closed his eyes, before he had calmed enough to answer the general.
    “Pardon me, General,” he said finally. His voice was a bit raspy and he cleared his throat. “A mistake! I have fixed the error. The shields should be up in no time.”
    “ A mistake !” The skeptical voice of the general stated.
    “Yes … yes, a mistake. – It will not happen again, I assure you!”
    “Yes, the shields are working again. Okay, Farron. But, please – no more mistakes !”
    “Sure thing, General. No more mistakes!”
    “Good.”
    Farron released the communication button and turned around to the blond, but she was gone. She must have fled while he tried to sell his stupid mishap as a mistake.
