teeth, making her shudder. I pull back and look at this goddess, wondering what I did to deserve such a wonderful woman. She’s everything a man could ever wish for.
My wife is riding me for all that I can give her and I fully intend to give her all of me—heart, body, mind, and soul. Her glorious naked body feels amazing as she builds up to set a punishing rhythm. I move in sync with her and we are both panting heavily as we fall apart together.

I lie and watch Anna as she sleeps. Sated and happy, she drifted easily to sleep in my arms. I hold her and listen to her even breathing. Anna and Ayden are my world and I only wish she could see what she means to me. I’ve never loved anyone the way I love her. From the day she walked into my life, she shook things upside down. I was single, or to put it truthfully, I was separated, although neither my ex nor I had made the first move to file for divorce. She’d cheated on me and there was no way back from that. We had been over for about three years when I met Anna. I wasn’t looking for love, but it found me anyway. I admired her from a distance at first, knowing that she was in a relationship, but as our friendship blossomed, she confided in me that Oliver cared very little for her and she wanted to leave him. He was a dickhead who cared more about drugs than he did his girlfriend, and when she had found out she was pregnant, she told me that she knew she had to put the baby first and do the right thing—she had to leave Oliver. She eventually left him, moved into what turned out to be pretty shitty accommodation, turned her life around and put herself and the baby first instead of that prick.
When Anna and I finally got together, it was thanks to a mutual friend at work meddling in our business and telling her that I liked her. She had sent me a text to ask me if it was true that I liked her as more than a friend. I responded that it was true and we arranged our first date for the following day. I’d never been one to waste time.
Now looking at her, I remember that heady rush of falling in love with her more each day. It wasn’t long before I asked my ex for a divorce so Anna and I could move on without anything in our way. After my first marriage falling apart, I had thought I would never get married again, I had even told Anna back before we got together that I felt that way. But she had loved me enough that she looked beyond it and compromised what she had wanted, because ring or no ring in her future, she wanted to be with me. However, she had worked her way deep into my heart, and I knew I was being unfair on her asking her to give up her hope of getting married and just settling for what we had. So I bought her an engagement ring and locked it away in the filing cabinet in the den of our house, knowing she never went in there. I planned to propose at one of her favourite places and it had come as a massive shock to her when I got down on one knee. That was the best thing I ever did, except for adopting Ayden.
Annalise Duncan was a one-of-a-kind woman and it made me proud to make her Mrs. Annalise Elizabeth Anderson.
I wrap my body around hers and fall asleep thinking back to our wedding day and how awed I was by my then wife-to-be.

I awoke in Drake’s arms and a warm smile spread across my face. Even after all this time together, I still got butterflies in my stomach from a mere touch. He was the most amazing man I had ever met. He was the best husband and father that Ayden and I could ask for. He was perfectly imperfect, my best friend, lover, and soul mate. The night before had been proof that after all these years and after having a baby, he still found me attractive. He had been impatient to make me his, but he’d let me take control, something I knew he loved. Every man wants a woman who isn’t afraid to initiate intimacy, to take the reins and lead them to the ultimate
