Actually, she had gotten herself a bit worked up too in the telling of the story and remembering the scenarios.
“Sorry , babe,” Lyndsay said between chuckles. “Just making conversation,” she said with a twinkle in her eye.
“Well , that’s some damn conversation all right. You’re lucky I haven’t come over there and thrown you over my shoulder and taken you out of here.”
Giving him a final snicker, Lyndsay said flirtatiously, “My apologies. I guess you’ll just have to punish me later for being so bad.”
Looking straight into her eyes, Nick said in a serious tone, “Oh, you can count on that.”
When Nick and Lyndsay got back to her house, she poured them both a glass of wine and they sat comfortably on her living room couch talking about the progress she was making on his house. The painters had just completed their work, the window treatments had been installed, and the furniture was due to arrive in the next day or two. Before the end of next week, Nick would be able to pack up his stuff from the condo and move into his beautiful new home. Once all the furniture arrived and was placed according to her directions, Lyndsay was going to surprise him by making up his bed with the new bedding he had chosen and set up the bathroom with the towels and bathroom accessories they had bought together. She was then going to put a bottle of champagne and a casserole in the refrigerator so he didn’t have to cook on moving day. When he walked into his newly decorated house for the first time, Lyndsay wanted everything to be perfect. Because of his busy schedule with the Neal Johnson trial, Nick hadn’t been to his new home in weeks. The last time he’d been there, only a couple of pieces of furniture had been delivered and that was it. Nothing else had been done. The place now looked really great and Lyndsay was so proud of how everything was coming together.
Seeing that their wine glasses were getting low, Lyndsay refilled them, and then with a sly wink said, “Don’t go anywhere. I’ll be right back.”
Giving her a look of a man starved , Nick replied, “You’re damn right you’re coming back. I seem to remember that someone needs to be punished, and I am a man of my word.” The minute the words were out of Nick’s mouth, Lyndsay could feel her lower lips start to throb as a tingle shot through her female sex. Lyndsay had never met a man before who could turn her on just by the sound of his voice and his words. Thinking about what he was going to do to punish her, she shivered slightly, reaching for the corset outfit that she had laid out on her bed before leaving for dinner. She carefully pulled the tight corset into place, then put on the garter belt and slid on the silky stockings that Jodi had chosen. She thought as she slipped into the stiletto high heels that she was going to have to kiss Jodi the next time she saw her. Lyndsay had never seen herself dressed in something so sexy before and as she ran a brush through her hair, her excitement mounted as she was only moments away from modeling the outfit for Nick. Taking a deep breath, she headed back to the living room thinking, Too late now to chicken out. Here goes nothing!
When Nick looked up from the magazine he had been perusing while Lyndsay was gone, his expression said it all. If Lyndsay had been a bit insecure about her outfit and whether Nick would be turned on by it, all of those thoughts evaporated when she saw the look of lust, desire, and appreciation on his face. Lyndsay had never seen a man look at her this way and he made her feel feminine, beautiful, and wanted. Smiling a bit sheepishly, Lyndsay did her best to glide seductively toward him.
Without saying a word and never taking his eyes off of her, Nick stood up , reached out for her, and pulled her into his warm embrace. Gently stroking her hair and face, he breathed, “You are the most beautiful sight I have ever laid my eyes on.” Tilting her chin up toward him,
