just—”
“No. Really.” She ruffles her hair while backing up slowly towards the front door. “I should get going. Goodnight Kellar.” Her eyes shoot me one final twinkle. “Night Dean...”
    “Night Megan.”
Without leaving another moment for questions she rushes out of the kitchen. Dad’s eyes look back over at me. He raises his eyebrows. “Not gonna walk her out?”
    “Can’t.”
    “Pain or pleasure?”
    “Pleasure.”
Dad chuckles, grabs a bottle of water, and says before walking the direction of his room, “Make sure you clean it all up and trash the jeans. They aren’t worth keeping. Trust me.”
    The instructions make me smirk.
Yeah. I’ve got that kind of Dad and don’t mind. What I do mind is the idea of any other guy doing what I just did to Megan. That’s not a fucking option. Not at all. Not now. Not ever.

Chapter 9
    Megan
“I can’t believe you just bailed.” Liv shakes her head as she folds the box closed labeled donations closed.
Which it isn’t. But it’s the only way to get shit out of the apartment without raising tons of suspicions to the front desk guy or the butler.
    “His dad came home!”
“Which is weird on it’s own. He’s 19 with a decent fucking job but doesn’t have his own place?”
“He likes helping his family. He likes being surrounded by them and given the way he grew up I don’t blame him for one second. Oh my gosh! You should see him with his sister. She calls me Pretty Megan. She’s adorable.”
“I bet she’s a doll. And you are pretty. My point was you could’ve went to his room. You didn’t have to leave.”
The image of him having come in his pants make me smirk wide.
Guys don’t really do that often right? Like I should feel special?
“And he gave you two orgasms. Yeah,” Liv continues talking like I’m not here. “You should’ve went to his room, spread those legs and let him—”
My hand flies over her mouth, “Shh.” She argues when the door creaks open and Richard, one of servants instructed to babysit me peaks his head in.
“Everything alright Miss Megan?” He clears his throat, glancing at the boxes.
“We’re fine. Just boxing some of my things to give away that I know Marcus doesn’t approve of.”
“I can take them for you,” he offers folding his arms behind his back.
“We prefer to do it ourselves. You know I like charities,” I quickly say.
“Of course Miss,” he nods. “Please let me know if I may be of assistance.”
“Will do.” He turns around and dismisses himself. The moment he’s gone I let out a sigh of relief. In a whisper I scold her, “No more Dean talk. These walls have ears.”
“I—” my phone rings silencing her.
Sure enough, Marcus’ name appears and I answer, “Hello.”
“I hear you’re packing,” he clears his throat, the sound of glasses clinking in the background. “Where exactly do you think you’re going? Do you think I can’t find you?”
Clenching my lips tightly I don’t say anything.
“Megan,” his tone drops. “I apologized for what happened before I left. Profusely. You can’t possibly still be angry.”
“I’m not angry.” I grab another garbage bag that contains the clothes I came into this relationship with. The one’s he won’t let me wear. “But I told you this is over. I told you before you left. I’ve told you several times Marcus. I can’t do this anymore. I don’t want to. I won’t.”
Silence nestles between us for longer than I can stomach. In a cold voice he says, “I’ll be home sooner than originally expected. Be prepared to say that to my face if you expect me to believe it.”
Notice how he didn’t say stop him. I really don’t think he’s ever going to stop.
“Next time you are going to lie to Richard, make it more believable.” He hangs up and my slightly panicked filled eyes find Liv’s.
“I know that look,” she sighs dropping the box. “It’s okay Megan. It’s gonna be okay. We’re gonna move you
