    “It’s taken me months to get all this planned.”
    “I can imagine. How the hell did you get Alex Harbour to agree to play, anyway?”
    “You know I have my persuasive ways, and don’t go all ‘fangirl’ on me right now. You’ve just agreed to be my wife. I’m not prepared to let you go for anything—even Alex Harbour.” I stood up, helping her to her feet once I was back on mine.
    “Oliver, there is nowhere else I want to be other than in your arms. That will never change,” she sighed, wrapping her arms around my neck as we began to sway to the music again.
    “We’re going to be so happy together.”
    “I know we are.” Jade looked intoxicated in our moment. The entire room had gathered around the dance floor to watch us.
    “I love you, Beautiful.”
    “I love you too.” She pressed her lips softly against mine before whispering in my ear. “I really want to go up to our bedroom right now, but I’m afraid people might miss us.”  
    “We’ll have plenty of time for that later. You need to meet Alex after his set list anyway.” Her mouth dropped open.
    “I get to meet him? You really have gone all out with the surprises today, haven’t you? I can’t keep up.”
    “It is your birthday, Beautiful,” I grinned, pulling her closer to me as Alex began singing a new song.
    “This is the best gift, though.” She ran her fingertips over her delicate diamond engagement ring. “This means I get to keep you forever.”
    “There was never any doubt in that. From the moment we met, I was yours.” Jade nodded in agreement. “My sexy Seductor .” She giggled against my lips as we both surrendered to a deep, all-consuming kiss.
