Deciding she deserved a night out after this fiasco, Gloria got in her car and sped off for downtown. She'd have fun in spite of everything.

    Possibilities…

The dim lights and thundering bass were enough to give Raulf a headache. He had to squint not only to see anyone or anything, but to dull the blaring noise of the music and shouting, laughing people. He hated clubbing. The only reason he was here was because Tasha's friend, Gloria, was supposed to be here with her "boyfriend." Raulf ground his teeth in frustration. The man was a lying, sniveling little wimp, and Raulf intended to prove that once and for all tonight. Gloria was definitely too good for him.
As for Tasha, they'd decided months ago it was in their best interests to see each other professionally. They kept up the facade of a couple because it suited both of them. In fact, Tasha was the one who'd invited Gloria and Donovan with the intention of giving Raulf the chance of exposing the other man. Raulf wanted Gloria with a passion that bordered on obsession.
It was ridiculous, really. He was one of the wealthiest men in the world. He was good looking, in great shape. He could have any woman he wanted. The one woman he did wouldn't so much as look at him. Had he not been rich and powerful, she might have given him a complex.
As if he'd summoned her, Gloria waltzed into the club wearing a skirt so short, it was probably illegal in several states. The slinky silver shirt gave enticing peaks at her midriff, and those fuck-me boots seemed to encase the longest legs in the world. Raulf wanted those legs wrapped around his waist. Twice. In an instant, he was hard as granite. That woman was made just for him. No other, but him.
He didn't bother to look for the man who should have been with her. He honestly didn't care if Donovan was there. The man didn't deserve a woman like this. Hell, he probably didn't either, but Raulf was sure he was man enough to do right by her. He'd treat her like a princess. Give her anything and everything she wanted.
Fuck her silly day and night...
Yeah, he was definitely going to Hell. But dressed as she was, there was no way he could keep his wayward thoughts under control. She was walking sin in a pair of boots, and Raulf wanted her.
She leaned against the bar, a shot glass of a dark amber liquid in her hand. Facing the bartender, she carried on a conversation with the man as he polished a glass. Gloria took a sip of her liquor and smiled at the bartender, and a red haze of fury veiled Raulf's vision. That man had no business talking to his woman!
Before he realized what he was doing, Raulf found himself stalking toward Gloria. He must've looked like he brought death with him, because the dense crowd parted like the Red Sea as he made his way to the bar. The bartender glanced his way, then did a double take and took two steps backward, not about to get in Raulf's way. No one came to Gloria's rescue. To Raulf, it only reinforced the idea that no one in this sorry excuse of a club was worthy of her.
Raulf caged her loosely, his hands resting on the bar to either side of her as he pressed against her back. "Don't you know better than to leave your apartment dressed like that? It's an invitation for a man to uncover what you so carefully wrapped."
Gloria stiffened, glancing over her shoulder to meet his gaze. Her pupils were dilated, a sure sign she'd had too much to drink. Of course, it could always be the dim lighting. He'd have to tread carefully.
"Maybe that was the idea." Her saucy reply only made him more uncomfortable. His pants were already unbearably tight. How much more did she really expect him to endure? Okay, so he'd been the one to approach her. He was the one with the secret obsession. She was innocent of his indecent thoughts.
"Oh, I very much doubt that, my dear." He tried to sound all suave, but was very much afraid his voice came out as strangled as his dick felt at the moment. "As I
