hundreds of children that are waiting for his achievements. The pleasure of being a wife of such a man didn’t fulfill her soul; she wanted more out of life then a simple stay-at-home mom with the predictable role. As she was getting closer to the third decade of her life, she indeed though more often about the happiness that might happen as a housewife, but above all, she didn’t want to settle before getting a feeling she left her mark in this world. As every many times before, they met in front of the restaurant. ‘Seven elements’ was the restaurant they went in ever since they earned their first paycheck. Although they lived in the same apartment, they would take two different roads to reach the restaurant just for the perks of pretending they are having a date.
In warm atmosphere, they both order favorite java crusted New York steak with stout glaze and a bottle of dark purple-black Carménère, 2008 Chono Reserva.
“I have very good news,” he said in excitement.
“Medical director of the children center promised me good position once I finish my degree. I will be able to be right next to the famous pediatrician from who I will be able to learn about neuro-pediatrics. I would die to see how it works from first hand.”
“As long as the patients are alive, feel free to die,” she laughed, “don’t get me wrong, I glad to hear that,” she added just to be sure she didn’t reveled any of her concern about his ambitions.

“I…I am speechless! Congratulations honey!” he bent over the table and gave her a kiss. He was genuinely glad, but one little part of him didn’t expected that she will earn more money than him.
“Thank you, sweetie,” she took another sip and gazed at the street. Her attention was stuck on a busy traffic as she wondered about other sides that their success might have.

“What’s that?” she said as if she spotted a bug on the table when she noticed an (un)identified motionless object. Clint ignored her reaction.
“I did some thinking…”
“And?” she pushed him.
“I believe that we are made for each other,”
“And?”
“And I want to ask you…” he cleaned the through with few coughs, stood up and kneeled in front of her.
“I want you, Veronica Clayton, to be my wife.”
The people around the table starred with their eyes wide open. Few older ladies released few screams of excitement.
. When Veronica saw a little box on the table, she thought he bought another expensive gift. She was worried he spent money only because he was riding on a thrill feelings of his new position in the hospital. When he kneeled down, she realized that expensive gift was not the most terrible thing that might happen. To be under pressure to decide about her future in a brief second was.
“I...I …” she stammered.
“Yes, yes I will,” she smiled and put a ring on her finger, “I guess,” she murmured to herself without anybody hearing
